Light work spray lubricants at my place are called skeeter pee. Heavy work need panther piss. Good vid Daniel. When I was 50 year old my dad treated me same as he did when I was 10. I had to walk away a couple of times to save our friendship. Now I will be 76 when I vote for DJT and think about what a good fellow my pop was.
Enjoyed the video. Your dad’s years of knowledge and experience are so important. His knowledge saves ya”ll money everyday. Also your knowledge saves by doing it yourself. I have been there and done that. God bless and be safe.
AGAIN your amazing dad had taught me a farming trick with welding a nut in a broken bolt. Shear Genius he is. Make sure and tell him what I said. Always learning something watching others do the farming and ranching. Great video my friend y’all are the very best ❤️💙
Daniel, it might be time to invest in a 1 inch or 3/4 Milwaukee Heavy duty impact. Great video, you and your Dad are some hard workers, Actually your whole team works hard.
Next time you’re at NAPA get a jug of aluminum brightener to use on your trucks for wheels and deck plates. It’ll take off the scale and oxidation just don’t let it dry and read the directions on the jug. It’ll clean up your frames and engine compartments also. Pick up a can of Knocker Loose while you’re in there for those sho nuff seized up bolts that you don’t wanna put the blue wrench on. Enjoy y’all’s videos and look for y’all every time I’m by that way.
I would say those front duals put some heavy duty torque on that front axil & seal. Yeah, when replacing a part of the blade, buy new bolts. You will save time and knuckles.
For future reference when taking those blade bolts out on that dozer, DO NOT use your hand to keep them from spinning, the dirt shaves the heads down and makes the edge like a razor. They will all but cut a finger off. Use a hammer handle or something to push in on them with.
Daniel. Quit going right to cutting off with the gas hatchet. Heat the nut not the bolt. You’ll be surprised how much the nut will grow. Live hearing your dads take. Get the other workers in also they seem like a great bunch. Propane or map gas In your tool box will make your day.
Those drive wheels also keep that tool bar the exact same height from the ground so the row units can float. Just drop the lift and the planter follows the contour of the land. You must know something I don’t!!! I’m interested on how you’re gonna run without those wheels!!
Daniel I want to say that you have a outstanding crew and your dad reminds me of my deddy and my uncle definitely The knowledge that your dad has is just pure awesome his drive is very Very good
Hi Granny hope all is well and you are staying warm. ITS COLD IN MICHIGAN !!!! As usual great video Daniel. That time of year, especially for you guys. Planter maintenance is sure important Make sure there isn't a bunch of wear on the barrel in the cylinder on the front end. Or you will be redoing the seals again.
Daniel, I admire the way your dad approaches all the problems on the farm. Seems like nothing scares him. It’s great to have someone around like him.

Another tip on removing bolts
If using a wire gun, weld a flat washer to bolt then weld nut to washer

Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another great video glad to see yall getting ready for 2024 season
Welding the nuts on to the broken bolts also heat the bolts and that helps break them loose! Good job!!!
Take care... Always a plenty of tasks to complete in the winter season. The cold weather is on its way...
I hate when you're about to come to end cause I really enjoy Yalls video. Hope Granny doing ok, God bless.
Good Saturday Granny! What a treat a Saturday video! Thank you Daniel! Great video!
Thanks for watching.
thanks for shareing
May not want to take those wheels off. They control your planter bar hight at least on my 1725. I am not ground drive either.
Those old guys know things I know because I am 1
The life and times of a farmer. Every day is an adventure. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍

Farm budget is always different from construction, I do both. But when it comes to cutting edges ,
Cut and use new bolts. Money ahead.

Should have traded that green paint for that CashIH 380. Your dad is a very smart man. Hope you’re listening and learning from him.

Good morning Granny, stay safe in this cold weather that’s coming
Thanks😊
I hope in an upcoming video you will show the repair of the road and cover that got the water damage
I think those MasterCraft forklifts used to be made in Tifton,Georgia,I don't think they're made there anymore.
Always the last one to give you problems when working on something
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO DANIEL 😊
I was about to comment to cool the nut after you welded it so it wouldn’t be so easy to break it off and you do it. Great minds think alike 😂
Great videos Daniel, Dads a wealth of knowledge he's a top man. Thanks for the videos.
your dad is awesome.
Yeah,,,, pro trip on old cuttin edges might as well torch them and start with new. And if you change one corner bit best to change both.

Love the team work, must be very gratifying considering how much solo time you get in those cabs.
I’m interested in seeing that giant wood heater in the shop. Did yall build that?
Should be using the liquid wrench and new bolts
Good job guys
Thx for making the vid!
Howdy triple R farms
A good one ❤
Happy New Year granny!!!🎉
Thank you.
Good thing that planter isn't 6 inches wider
Dewalt wire brush then wd-40 and 'elbow grease' !! No torch needed! Lol!
What row spacing are you on?
How did you like the case tractor
Old bolt screen is world over
Hey, Daniel when are you going to do a set down video with Dad and the Crew???
👍🏻🙋♂️😉👏👏👏
You shouldn't reuse those bolts on yhe blades of any dozer
Hey where did y’all get the wood heater?
Need some pipe to help break that loose
Daniel I want to say that you have a outstanding crew and your dad reminds me of my deddy and my uncle definitely
The knowledge that your dad has is just pure awesome his drive is very Very good
