Nice video.....to me the Barkley sounds a bit fuller and focused. It has a little more character in the sound than the Jumbo Java...I have this both mouthpieces too and I must say...both are good mpcs for this price, but the Barkley has a bit more expression in the sound. Greets from Germany...
Así es, creo que barkley tiene más presencia sin acentuar mucho los graves lo cual te da un sonido más equilibrado y pro, por otro lado vandoren suena más suave pero acentuando lo medios graves.. Saludos
The second one sounds tighter, brighter, and more focused, but because of the way this was recorded it's very hard to get a feel for which sound I would prefer. Please try moving the microphone closer to the horn, and do use a good mic. This seems like it was recorded with the camera or phone mic.

Barkley 0:34, Vandoren 1:44. I like more barkley. It has bright, but more expressive sound. You can do more with that sound.
I like the Barkley. Warmer sound. The Java is bright and sharp.

They’re both pretty similar, just depending on which tip opening is more suitable for you

That Jumbo Java has to be pushed in further on the cork hence why it sounded more flat than the Barkley
The jumbo Java sounds like there's more resistance while Barkley sounds more open.
