Poirier is such a selfless dude. Doesn't put fighting or fame above his family, and uses the money to benefit the hurting. That's class act.
He and the wife have a foundation for kids. He puts quite a bit of money to this foundation. He has a good heart.
This is why even as a Conor fan, this loss isn't that hard to take. Because I'm also such a huge fan of DP. Just such a legit dude, cares about his family & others. Such an easy guy to root for

I was watching this fight with money on DP, watching him WALK INTO THE POCKET AND LOSE EVERY EXCHANGE. Wtf was he doing? Remember in the second round after he ate some huge shots, and he was bouncing on his toes, still looking a bit rocked, with his hands down.

What do you mean? That’s why he won the fight! Nervousness is really good for athletes. Many athletes lose for not being nervous enough. I get the sense that’s why Conor may have lost from that. Maybe he wasn’t taking the threat as serious because he had already won over Dustin previously and slept on him doing his grind. I don’t think he expected Dustin to be that good and he SHOULD have been nervous. Those language analysts may be right, but for the wrong reasons

I understand why Dustin doesnt see Chandler as exciting.. But Dustin should remember that he lost to Khabib, so Khabib will have the same argument to use again Dustin.. It doesnt excite people because Khabib already beat you. I think it will end with Khabib retiring and Dustin can then get the belt
