At 33.06 for me, this is an intriguing question - and answer, re: Dana White. I see Dana as utterly unique to my whole television experience, interest, and enjoyment of the UFC, and MMA. He's integral to it, and for the sport, and business. The biggest star that it has, in my opinion. If he steps down I'll still be watching, the fighters will still be fighting, pundits talking, etc. But it sure as heck won't be the same.
Yeah, he’s like a Vince McMahon. You need that captain of the ship to keep all the pieces in line, but you need good incentive and organizational structure as well. You don’t want to end up like the nba or increasingly the nfl where players think they run the league. It’s good to have a balance of the labor and the leadership, but things completely fall apart without good leadership
@@johnfiftos7953 You talk as though Dana is a one man show. UFC and MMA in general will be just fine without Dana White. He was needed in the beginning but not anymore. UFC will only lose Danas butt buddy fans, not true UFC fans.

Yes but Dustin is more seasoned then Chandler especially when it comes to the big time promotion the UFC. I like Dustin to win in the 3rd or 4th round. But I don't take Oliviera lightly I just think his biggest wins don't come close to Dustin's nor do the opponents. Dustin has ran thru Alvarez, Gaethje, Holloway n Conor twice. N he almost had Khabib with that guillotine but Khabib is a savage. Oliviera only really had Ferguson when Tony was on his downfall n it went to Decision which he did dominate but he's not known for KO'ing ppl but he did with Chandler n that surprised me n Chandler who has only had 2 UFC fights n only KO'd Hooker who is good but he isn't on Gaethje, Holloway, Conor nor Dustin's level. Look no disrespectbut I REALLY just think now that Khabib is gone it's Dustin's time. N the way he has fought against Conor both times was so beautiful!
That was an awesome interview! And as you said Patrick, the depth of Dustin's answers were a "wow factor". He is definitely an all around champion and will make a great champ when it comes!

@@festaazul That’s awesome 👏🏼 Great cause that’s for sure.

The UFC does not deserve him. Living legend. Losses make you better look at who he has become.. unstoppable!!
Time well spent. I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of this interview. Dustin is a great role model and has been one of my favourite UFC fighters for quite some time. A most humble and intelligent fighter, he has fought his way to the top of the heap with grit, determination, blood and guts. Rather than merely talk the talk, he has walked the walk and is on the verge of being crowned the undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion of the world on Dec. 11, 2021. Here's your chance to make a ton of money - bet big on the "Diamond".
Dustin is a gem a of a man. Enjoying this content. Thanks to everyone involved
Great interview. We looking forward for more interviews like this one.
I love how honest and pure he is good man and I’m a big McGregor fan but Dustin deserves everything he’s achieved
Great talk and super well moderated! Love how the interviewer is asking things he's passionate about rather than taking care of everybody in the crowd. applicable
Charles Oliveira has a great story too. He got from Brazilian slum to be the champion and got some well deserved money. He also is a very humble and down to earth guy. Unfortunately he's English is rudimentary.
I really like the content. Best interview I’ve seen in a long time. Dustin is a great person and I can’t wait til December.
It's good to see DP up here being interviewed by my favorite interviewer Patrick bet David awesome
Beautiful interview you can jus see how humble and determined dustin is this interview was so inspirational
Absolutely phenomenal interview. You can't NOT love Dustin. Great job!
Dustin is such a cool guy. PBD always stepping it up with the BEST guests. 👍👍
(Had to edit this after watching the whole video....Pat, man.. you donating that 20k to his charity...i hope some day i get to shake your hand in person... the things you're doing across the board right now, i can't tell you how much respect i have for you. You're a hell of a good man. You're father must light up every room he goes in, he must be glowing 24/7. ZERO doubt hes a very proud father.)
Thankyou.
He presents himself as a classy professional . The world could use more of this. Good job Dustin.
What an amazing interview. Daniel Cormier is a National Treasure! I was a big Conor McGregor fan and this year watching Dustin he not only won my respect but also my heart, and I think that is the way many, many people feel. These men and women fighting are Warriors. Can't wait until December!
I'm beyond excited for Dustin's title fight in Dec! I'm rooting for Dustin! He going to get the belt and tis sooo well deserved
Nah conors still the dude for me
@@69birdboy bc you're not that smart
I've been a fan since I saw him fight for the first time over 10 years ago. I'm so damn happy he has turned out like this. He's a polite dude that will whoop your ass if you stepped out of line. Dude is epic and in his own league but is no joke. No joke at all. Keep doing what you're doing my dude!
Really enjoy this interviewer's questions and Dustin for taking the time to answer them.
@@johnfiftos7953 The athletes may be paid properly though.

Listen to "Christian Prince" in UA-cam. Hes an arab and shows you all the evidence from your own islamic sources that islam is false. Lord Jesus is GOD.
@@uzi9625 read your bible cover to cover and you will see all the inconsistencies, that's not even mentioning the inconsistencies on the various bibles that you have. How do you know that your bible is the correct one? There is evidence from the earliest bible showing that the modern day bibles have significant changes. So, before you want to talk religion, please THINK

You do the most diverse guests Pat, what a great one this was, I had to stop at half way and nip down and get a lge Flat White from the local servo, it was 2 am and it was a riveting watch. I can see Dustin beating Charlie Olives for the Title. What a nice and insightful guy he is and gotta wish him all the best. His sauce ROCKS by the way.
This was truly an inspiring interview among the many you've done Patrick, thank you so much for the work and dedication you bring!
The nice thing about Dustin is he doesn't hesitate to speak the truth. Excited to watch this interview!
This man is just on another level now. Physically and mentally. I hope he wins in December.
What a great story. What a great interview! Thanks a lot. Greetings from Romania!!!
At 21 you can do anything…… maturity comes with wisdom and confidence. This guy is real
Nice interview grtz from the Netherlands
Pat, on the JRE Podcast, you said he was necessary. Well, you Sir, are necessary. I personally prefer your podcast/interviews to JRE. Dustin is an amazing human being and really appreciated seeing him in a different setting. I've been a fan of his for a long time. Thanks Pat!
Valuetainment has some of the best interviews, mad respect to Pat and team
Dustin didn't even know he respected that guy until he talked to him. He straight up said, I'm a professional wrestler and well respected by you
Lol I caught that
Great interview, interviewer and guest
That was a great interview Pat, every time I hear Dustin speak the more my respect goes up
Amazing interviewer and Dustin of course! Thanks Valuetainment for these gems! 💎
Pat has got s**t on lock. Valuetainment on op's ....
Charles Oliviera is not a joke, thats gonna be a difficult/entertaining fight..
Guy who knocked out Chandler is special
@@samfisher515 mate, very well said. Drama from begging to end. never seen such a dramatic shift of momentum in so short of time.....Well remembered
@@samfisher515
He's talented but I don't think he beats Dustin, Gaetche, and definitely not Islam. Hope Dustin gets the W
He's tough but come on... Dustin is on another level and with the way he fights, Charles will end up either unconscious or tap to strikes
That was an awesome interview! And as you said Patrick, the depth of Dustin's answers were a "wow factor". He is definitely an all around champion and will make a great champ when it comes!
Dustins the everyman fighter.. just a real as you, me , that job we go to in the morning... Just real.. no hollywood. No smoke and mirrors. No persona. Or character. Just a normal dude, with extraordinary skills earned from hard work , dedication and refusal to compromise.
DP is the very definition of class.
Dustin is well deserved for whatever he achieved and going to make a amazing champion.
Great stuff, Pat. Very inspiring on multiple levels. We love Poirier around here, but also loved this style of interview and production level and hope we can get to that on our channel. - Josh
Dustin is a true champion who put the work in, a great man!
2 of my favorite guy's!! Great video brother 👊💪
There seems to be a common theme in combat sport. The ones who are the most successful for the longest period of time are usually the guys with the highest set of morals and beliefs.
Patrick is such a great interviewer. You can tell he did his homework for this. And Dustin soon to be lightweight champ!
Great talk. Dustin is a class act.
From small town Louisiana with no purpose in life to be this fighter with humility, great family life and be really humble man is a proper role model if you ever want to ask one
He's a real fighter! Fucking love the guy 🔥

Dustin & The Diaz Brothers brought me the UFC... His passion & Work ethic I Admire so Much!! Dustin Has Covered as An Underdog time & time again... He is favorite vs Oliveira so we'll see if he can handle the pressure... Thanks for the Great Interview Guys 👏
Interesting that he gave mcgregor that compliment of hardest puncher! It’s nice to hear it
@Craig G What happened in the second fight then?
He motivates me. We all have different paths, but what's important is to keep pushing, keep fighting for whatever it is you wanna do. You'll get there don't give up on your self
What an Inspirational guy , his kick and his humbleness knockout anybody around :-)
What a great interview. Both very well spoken. Dustin is way more humble than i thought.
