through the entire series I never once hated Tantai Jin. He was the one character who had the most development. In my eyes, he was never really evil. I sometimes hated the way Ye Xiwu would condemn him for things he never did, or he did to survive.
I have also read the novel and he was born without the love/affection string so this is why he has appeared evil etc. eand of course the fact the fact that everybody was trying to kill him. He was not able to understand that what he has been doing is evil since since small there was nobody who truly loved him, everybody hated him and wanted him dead. I really recommend the novel it is somehow brutal but yet amazing, he is even more evil there but you will still love the character.

They go through such horrendous torture to keep their love alive I feel pain just watching this drama yet I am so addicted to it.
Their love is a slow burning process that is capable to make you cry and laugh at the same time.
