Totally agreed with your points. Royal Enfield is not a bike its an emotion. My bike is like my brother. Me bhi meteor city me chalata hu to just leg guard and sump guard lagwaya thats it.
RE walo ki mat sun na, bekar ka engine oil hai, isse acha gharka double hiran dal dun. There might be loss of some hundreds but use better engine oil. I still have 3k for 2nd service i'm thinking to go for motul 300v. The loss is they will mandatory drain the oil at 5000km but motul can last for 7000km also you have to pay 600 for the gun engine oil. There is little loss but its worth the loss.

Thank you soooo much dada. I just bought a meteor supernova, i too wanted to add all these accessories. I just ride to office from home and back. So i just added the leg guards. My old bike, Bajaj avenger 220 which i bought in June 2014 just clocked 13000 km only. I sold it off last week, So I don't ride much. Sump guard kya zaruri hai? Even I have planned to add this later, not now.

Kindly ask the Royal Enfield regarding the huge price hike of touring mirror. It hiked from 4000 to 6250. Which types of special features have been added for its price hike. Is it ethically right decision ?
There are no changes in the product, it's just a price increase so that royal enfield earns more from it
Its all Siddharth Lal fault he keep asking for his salary hike.
Left mirror makes sound when hitting patchy road... dealer is not talking about replacing it.... instead claiming insurance...what is this...is it right
Complain to customer care about the dealer and lodge an official complaint and he will do it in 10 minutes for sure

Metero le ke 60 pe crusing krne ka maza hi kuch or hai pr sir chote stones jaisi awaz aa rhi hai jaise mujhe yeh lag rha hai gear box me problem hai pr gear box thik kam kr rha hai kabhi kabhi shift problem hoti h wse normal h ap bta skte ho kya problem hai?
Mere bike mai bhi same problem aa rahi thi..rainy season mai.. aap ek bar bike achche se wash kara ke ..chain saaf kar lijiye kisi cotton cloth ya brush se and use chain lube use krke dekhiye.. mere bike mai uske bad se aawaj ana bnd ho gayi . Till now i have driven almost 5000km on my super nova meteor.

Well sound toh ati hai bhai, and till date im uncertain kahan se aa rahi hai, when i visit service centre they say everything is okay. Rahi bat shifting hai, han ye hoti hai..sometimes jitna bhi downshift marlo nehi hoti aram se, jorse karna padta hai.

Hello Nitin, you shared very good & structured information. One question: I am purchasing Marsh Grey Classic from Haryana and dealer is taking 9.4% (INR 19200) of Ex Showroom (204367) for RC. As per my understanding it should be 8%. Should I register the bike on my own or taking services of dealership will be thw better option?. Please guide. Thanks.
If you can do the hustle and already have experience about all these and the right paperwork, you can go for it on your own.
Sir below 2 lakh ex showrrom the rto registration cost is 6% in haryana
and it is quiet easy to get self registartion done if you know the process , ask the dealer to get the file ready , go to the rto deposit the file , they calculate the tax and pay the tax and get the rc in 10 days at your doorstep and then apply for hsrp through them only .Dealership cannot refuse you for self registration or self insurance.

I had ordered supernova silver on May 14th last week I had talked to coustmer care they told that bike was under manufacturing how many days it will take to deliver...
I had ordered my bike in April 1st week and I haven't received the delivery yet, but my bike was a custom one, so your bike may take 1 more month approx
I am planing to drop and move to other bike bro it has been 5 months
@@rajeshreddy7056 I know I've been thinking the same since it will be 6 months now for me, but meteor's are a raresight, and the bike is the best in-segment
@@rajeshreddy7056 you might loose the deposit of 10k if paid already ....think about that before changing your decision
Meteor is a good choice. And yes there is no refund for custom ones. But something can be done for noncustom ones. I know it can be very frustrating to wait that long but believe me, you won't regret the decision. Here's a tip to follow if you buying next time for someone else. Directly talk to the manager, establish a relationship (depends on your talking skills). There's a lot of inside stuff which i can't speak in public but at the end if your bike is non custom, you can get as early as in 2days just like i got mine.
Is the single rod engine guard just as effective as normal ones?
Single rod leg guard are just for show it has no use.
The bike is heavy so don't ever try to do a kanjoosi here.

Yes, it's a must. The bike is heavy, there might be situations like if you lose the balance of your legs somehow, it's not Activa that you can pull towards you from a 125 degree. So you must install.

Bhai i love cleaning my bike n scooter but my meteor 350 mein kitna dirty ho raha daily ride karke aane ke baad gaadi full keechadh par bara hua.....but my two frnd has classic 350 and classic 500... I have ride ..itna bura haal nahi....tak gaya daily water wash karke..peeche sei bhi back rest tak keechad ah raha hein

RSA means road side assistance . Aap kisi aise remote area mai man lo fas gaye aapki bike khrab ho gayi to agar aapke pas RSA hai to aap ek call karke mechanic bula skte hai jo aapki bike ko wahan aakar repair kar jayega . Aur ye insurance nahi hota hai.. lena zaruri bhi nahi hai agar apki ride kisi aise road pr nahi hoti hai to.. baki aapki marji hai

Some experience peoples are saying that Jawa Classic much better than Enfield in every aspect, build quality, milage, reliability, ground clearance and also in power.
It's true in terms of power, weight and modern features..but RE bikes has earned the soul of most Indians and for jawa and honda it takes time.....which is reflected from month on month sales figure of 300 cc bike segment RE still leads ....
Dear Rider whoever gave you the term *every aspect* just ask them about servicing. Bikes are machines and we can't determine when they might break down. Royal Enfield provides free RSA for a year which can be extended, the benefit is your bike will be serviced free of labor (consumable items will be charged) or if heavy damage (will be towed and dropped to nearest service center). Also, this bike is something a local mechanic can do the job.
Now if you are supposed to ride the bike in your city where jawa service center exists, you are welcome to purchase JAWA.

Being a middle class people probably I may not afford any bike in future. So I am looking for a bike which will lust for a long term. While my friends are saying that Enfield has not such build quality as it had few years ago. So they are suggesting JAWA.
Now please suggest the best bike for long touring and low seat height with retro classic style. Should I wait for any upcoming bike or book Enfield??
The Jawa you speak of uses the MOJO engine. It's not purpose built like Royal Enfield. So no, it is not.
