I was lucky enough to see Gaz and the band play live in Norwich this year. This track was one of the highlights of a great gig. A very underrated artist.
I loved this performance of "Long Live The Strange"on the glorious Jools Holland show on Saturday night!-this song was a "Love at First Listen"for me as I am a long-term fan of Gaz Coombes's solo work+of course with Supergrass👍👏💛-my recommendation to fully appreciate the song is to watch the video that goes with it as it is as delightful+ever so slightly kooky as the man himself!(that's always a good thing!)🧒😄⭐
It has the impact of the hits of the 90's that I felt a meaning of soul had been lost in the music. absolutely wonderful song. THANK YOU GAZ!! COME TO ARGENTINA SOON!!♥
Was hoping his music would have matured , the lyrics are obvious and banal. The musicality is like a watered down version of super grass. Not impressed.

I believe in freedom of speech , just cos someone doesn’t agree with you doesn’t make it “ trolling “. Unfortunately ppl like you are unable to differentiate between honest opinion and criticism for the sake of criticism. And yes I’ve been in bands none as successful as him but i know what I’m talking about , I was the lead singer for one moderately successful band and one that bombed and if anything that allows me to have more of an opinion than someone who has only experienced sycophancy.
