Does this help not with the strength? But the actual body understanding aspect of the Oahs for understanding what it takes to stand on one arm? Because its like a mini one arm handstand
Yes and no, I think any of the one arm balances are useful and assist in learning OAHS but I would still spend majority of time in standard straddle OAHS drills
I´d like to learn it but I´m still working on the crow! BTW are you sure it´s still winter over there? The weather looks exactly like now in mid Europe and we have summer!!!
Yeah spend the time on the other crow versions first. This is a cool move but the other crow variations carry over to more. It’s still winter in Australia, it was around 18 deg yesterday and cold in the shade. Most people had coats on! I’m sitting at home now with the heater on (7am). My parents are in the UK and have been telling me hot it is in Europe.
A new goal to work towards 👍
thank you For showing me this
Great to Hear! This is tricky but a fun one
Thanks Paul, you are very inspiring, keep it up 💪🏽
Thank you 🙏

My knee tends to slip off my elbow. Is there any particular remedy for this at all Paul?
It’s feedback you’re not quite in the sweet spot. Normally more bend in the elbow and/or more rotation will help. Sweatband will definitely help
Is this a prerequisite for crow to handstand?
No for most people this is harder than crow to handstand
Different mechanics going on here compared to crow > handstand
Human body is cool so adaptable in various angles. I read it's the most adaptable in the animal kingdom
Yes it’s amazing!
