I have org mates into cargo, that have this lol. I enjoy other fleet support roles, personally, but love seeing Hull C buyers getting use out of this ship! My fiance did buy one, so I'm getting ahead of learning how to maximize efficiency with it, for when he is occupied with defending our colony from pirates, and supply lines have to be maintained, so I appreciate this video, citizen! There should be a bulk goods player inventory aboard the cargo deck that you can load into/out of so you can transfer inventory without having a pending sale. That would really streamline things.
Great tips. Just got one to try playing with. I don’t think I’ll be loading it too much… 1M might be too risky

In the time it takes to buy and load 600k worth of cargo, I've already done 2 runs or more with my c2 for half a million profit. And if i 30k my goods are safe. Hull C is pretty inferior atm
Hull c cant transport big value items like gold or berilym, so its trash right now
@@twilight4080 i realize better than most. But the worst part is it can't even do what it's designed for yet.
What's worse, my cargo got permanently locked, i lost 600k, and every other ship had a stupid "CARGO WAITING" right smack across the reticle for a month (fighters included!)
I believe auto-docking is Alt-N now, and yeah - same boat here: haven't been able to undock my Hull C (even in the latest patch) to sell anything, but did get it to work a few times in Evo/PTU. I still say they just have the docking arm be the loading zone - the extra step is clearly breaking things

Yea I tried free the latest patch and it’s still broken. First loading worked fine. When to another station to load up some more. Cargo loading failed. So far I’ve lost like 3 mil in cargo testing the hull c lol

I'm glad I chose to go the BMM route instead of the Hull C, I can still land on planets and buy a variety of cargoes instead of just going with station-to-station bulk cargo limitations. Yes, my fuel costs will be greater but that is off-set by the higher profit margins on the different substances I can chose from.
And the only downside is waiting for the BMM….
Are the bugs fixed yet or is it still a gamble as to whether the cargo will actually load
I assume cargo decks are going to get their own docking ports at some point.
Warning if u dont want to wast your credits dont use it, it is to bugged and just gives out errors.
Edit: Another thing is i was buying Copper in Port Tressler they where full to the max with Copper there and you could only buy an amount equal to 250k Credits witch is not even enough to get the Hull C half full, so the Hull C is not even worth to get cause you cant get enough shipping material.

Does docking still automatically open the door? I'd hate to inadvertently invite unwanted guests to jump aboard.

its a space freighter, its not supposed to land on planets or at hangars when fully loaded

how much can you earn using Hull C per run? how does it compare to a 1 run of Beryl using a C2 (400k profit on 1 run)?
I've just done 1 run of iron and made 200k. Currently sitting on a load of distilled spirits that will profit 400k. I haven't really looked that much into the commodities but it's pretty good money to start out, if you can afford to fully load it.

@@pvtryan is that it? i can do a 40scu drug run for 200k lol. i know its more risky than iron but it takes waaaaay less time and a much cheaper ship.
idk i just dont see the point of hull C right now. its great that its finished and in the game but i dont see the point in spending money on it
if you're talking about the drugs you take from salvage ships or bounties, then those are definitely getting a huge nerf eventually. Way too overpowered atm. I agree the Hull C is pretty pointless, and on top of that, it doesnt even work. Undocking is extremely buggy and mine is currently stuck.@@lewis0705
Hopefully they fix that annoying bug where the Hull C spawns inside the station. Smh

I was able to sell and buy stuff at the same time so only one undocking and cargo switching.
I hope we will be able to undock the ship again.😢

This is a ridiculous process and the biggest reason not to get into cargo imo. I'm curious though, with the new update which allows party members to sell cargo from other ships, maybe now it's possible to have someone (like an escort) fly with you on their smaller ship and do all the admin interactions needed while the pilot of the Hull C never leave the ship, they just need to coordinate with the other pilot. This would encourage crew game play and make it way more enticing than it is currently.
For some of us THAT's the fun of it. All the extra stuff that makes it feel immersive. Sure it needs polish and to be tweaked some but the general idea is right.
@@JohnVanderbeck going to the toilet would be immersive, sleeping in a bed for 8 real time hours would be immersive doesnt mean it should be in the game

Hull C is a slow painfull ship take way to long to unload an load the ship not worth 500 doller rent it ingame when it comes for rent
