My son was in jail years ago. He said there was this guy that was waiting to go to a federal penitentiary. Now he told the jailers not to put anyone in with him, he would kill anyone they put in his cell. Now he had gotten charged for murder and was waiting to go to the penitentiary. Sure enough they put someone in with him, that man didn't leave the cell alive.

She's probably telling the truth. As a retired guard, we can't just let inmates say stuff and not put someone in there. Sometimes, inmates say that just so they can have a cell to themselves. Inmates don't call the shots. If the paperwork says they are compatible, then they are compatible.

My first time going to jail my cellmate was a cannibal, who was arrested for literally chewing someones eyeball out of their face. He was a skinny crazy white boy named Aaron that had bite marks all around his body from self cannibalism. And the worst part of it all? He was afraid of me because I was bigger than him, and he made that known. Nothing is more scary than a man who feels afraid and will do anything. For 3 weeks, I wrapped a towel around my neck so he couldnt bite it while I was asleep and we would always stay up super late and wait for the other to fall asleep first to feel more safe. We had great conversations during the day but night time is when things got real wicked. After 3 weeks he attacked someone while we were out of our cell and he was relocated. My next cellmate was much more normal lol.. Crazy ass 3 weeks ill never forget.

So you can share a cell with someone with a severe crime for a few weeks even if youre in for a traffic violation. He went to the 7th floor where the psychos go (top floor of rice street) and I went to the third cuz I was only there for getting in a fight with someone lol.

I spent six months in Baltimore, Maryland central booking. It was the worst experience of my life. The food tasted like the floor, and the whole place smelled like throw up and poop. An inmate spit on a female correctional officer, and the other officers beat that inmate to death. I spent six months as a lone wolf. Other inmates were constantly trying to steal from me and fight me. I stood up for myself, gained some respect and ended up getting stabbed. I was lucky to leave there alive and it took almost 4 showers when I got home to wash the stench of that place off of my body.

BRO I went to middle school with this piece of shit. In 2017ish he moved into my apartment complex and off rip was a weirdo. It was an upscale apartment building. He made up a whole story about how he was working in oil and gas and making money when it turned out his grandparents were paying his bill.
He immediately started creeping on all the females there and started telling me he was smashing. He was really off. I cut off hanging out with him because he’s ask me all type of weird shit. Caught Ownby literally looking through my trash!
Eventually a girl I used to mess around with moved into our same apartment complex and I made the mistake of telling Ownby about her. I got a text randomly from him telling me her whole schedule. What time she walks the dogs, what type she goes to work, things like that. I had the warn the girl and scared her to death.
Also he got evicted for his creepiness and overall sociopathic behavior and he pissed on the maitenance man’s front door and I recall seeing him burn the notice on his porch just staring at it like the psychopath he is.
Afterwards, he started stalking his mother and after he was evicted, at his next apartment complex he visciously beat the manager of that apartment.
My twin brother and I knew he’d eventually kill someone. Shame it had to be this guy. Never shoulda been celled up with each other. I’m open to answer any questions

Also I think it’s worth mentioning we grew up very wealthy. The neighborhood he lived in as a kid averaged 1.5 million dollar homes. Ownby also played d1 football at UH for one year before getting kicked out for some reason. He really had it made but he’s the first person I’ve ever met where I thought to myself “this really is a psychopath I’m dealing with” especially when we met as adults

My ex wife's cousin was just murdered in his Clayton County Georgia jail cell last week. You should check it out. The guy who killed him said he would attack any Hispanic man they put in his cell. His name was Carlos Arroyo and he was mentally disabled as well. Talking to him was like talking to a slow child and this guy beat him to death. He was in on 12k bond for stealing something and was killed for his race. They say they're not going to bother with the hate crime charge because of how serious the other charges already are. Malice murder and more. It's sad because he was harmless. I helped him get his first car a few years back when I was in the car business.

@@bobbeezel2593In most cases the judge should lower his bond in the event that something like that happens. It's one of the reasons why some states are doing away with pretrial detention for charges (including murder) and are just monitoring them (in theory) until trial. My state is a red state but all charges are bondable unless the charge is serious AND the proof of guilt is evident and the presumption of guilt is great, or they are a flight risk.

  • @OctoberOmicron
    @OctoberOmicron 9 місяців тому +31

Yeah, saw violence in both jail and prison. I think it was worse in jail in my experience, mainly because everything was small, more enclosed, all the violence felt more intimate because of that. As Death has mentioned before there's something very ominous when you hear a door getting slammed (or desk) to the beat of someone punching someone else. What you're hearing is someone pinned against something getting repeatedly banged off of it. That sound of bone on bone, flesh on flesh. Unforgettable.

There is this real fear that people have of unfortunate circumstances landing otherwise law-abiding people in jail. I could not imagine any amount of time in an institution. There has to be a market for defendants recently sentenced to their first stint to get an orientation course, to survive that first year, to learn the do's and don'ts before mistakes are made. Wealthy families with a son going in for a DUI with fatalities or a white collar criminal would pay for something like that, wouldn't they?

It's also possible it was without provocation. Especially in jail. Some guys like to take a weak mother and do him in to try and have a reputation precede them up to the prison. I also know that guys like to give a readon when asked why they did it if there is ANYTHING they think will minimize the punishment, like someone calling them a bitch, whatever.

I’ve been to Harris county jail. Was there because I forgot about a speeding ticket I forgot about. I got lost in the system, end up spending a week in the. They put me on the floor and I was in there with guys that were doing time for violent crimes. The day before I got out, they moved me to a holding cell for ICE and I was staying with a bunch of MS 13 guys.

I went to prison for a year and the dorm was considered an area for behaved inmates with special privileges. You could watch tv all day and night, get extra meals and I was there. There was a 6,5 270 pound individual who was provoked by a smaller inmate. Long story short, the larger guy was beating the smaller guy pretty much to death until all of us minus myself, stomped the big guy to the point of him being blinded for the rest of his life. Eyeballs hanging out and all. Prison is so unpredictable, even if you’re in a dorm with the most well behaved inmates.

I hope the algo is landing your vids onto the recommendations of youngsters that have a little fire in them so they can shift that energy to something positive or productive... away from crime. Thanks for the PSAs, brother!

He did it to him cause he knew he could if he was housed with somebody his size he would’ve thought twice. Prison and jail is full of cowards who prey on the weak minded and the physically weak.
