Thank you, I really appreciate that. Still trying to figure out the video editing aspect but getting there. Hope to become a little more consistent with content here soon.
I've got the same bike in my garage right now (Yellow). My dad bought it in 79. 4100 miles on it. It sat in his pole barn for 30 years. I got it home, went through everything, and it runs like a champ..... Tires are very hard to find and Expensive!!! Hope you don't have to buy one of those anytime soon... Nice Bike!
It’s the bracket for an extra fuel tank. A small round can went in there. Here in Europe that bracket with the tank goes for as much as you paid for the bike! €950 was the asking price for the last one I saw. Came with a leather case for the tank, the tank itself and the bracket. Good purchase mate!
Flannious L'Flannagato Hey, thanks for the info. I have been searching for the fuel tank that goes there with no luck. Based on that price, maybe I should just sell the bracket and roll without one!
iv got the 1974 model. my brother bought it because we had an rv90 growing up. bought it from him and now more that $500 into the engine alone with a trusted mechanic. its worth it to me but shows how good a deal you got. awesome.
joe flem Hey, I appreciate the feed back. They are great bikes and definitely worth keeping the running. I have been keeping my eye out for a RV90 to add to the collection. They don’t come up very often.
I just grabbed a 1974 today with 2900 miles on it. Pretty much complete but doesn’t have a spark. How do you like these compared to the old honda’s? Should I clean it up and sell mine or is it worth keeping it in the collection?
This is ANOTHER bike inhad only I had the RV 90 - it had one fatal flaw and it was the automixer and because the way it was built into the carb you couldn’t just mix the gas with out modifying it - fun to ride juet looks really goofy with no tank
Dude, your channel is awesome. Thanks for sharing these old bikes here! Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil.

Man that is awesome! I love hearing stories like this.
Can still get the original tyres.
I recently got some from bridgestone in japan took 2 months to arrive and not cheap.

The rv90 bikes are great as well.
got 6 of them.
Nice! I have a 2017 RV200. Love that little bike.
Right on, Would love to test out one of the newer versions.
nice video! can u share how tall is d rider? trying to gauge if it looks small with a 6ft 180cm rider. tq.
Hey thanks, I am 6'3" and feel it is still a comfortable ride.
That’s a felony ! You stole it 😂. But if you keep it then it’s ok. That’s a unique bike ! I’m old enough to know that it was different but cool.
Haha, it was a good deal. I still own it to this day. Been a little over 3 years and still talk to the guy I got it from.
Looks like a bracket for a reserve fuel tank...great bikes...got 2 1973 models.
vinto34 Hey thanks for the reply. You are correct. Someone sent me a picture of their original RV with the fuel tank in there. Now to find one!

rippinmachines I have tons of Honda’s but this is one of my favorite bikes to ride. I say clean it up and keep it!
I just picked the same bike up. I have a really, really stupid question. Where is the kill switch on these things? Do they even have one?
Turn the key to the "OFF" position.
Just key switch.
Would take this over a tw200 or fat cat anyday, same engine as the Suzuki tc125 with the high/low range trans. Goofy but still very cool machine 👌
I agree, I have had the Fatcat, BW200 and BW350 and this is the only one I have held on to. Smooth easy ride.
It's a holder for water cantina. Some of the old trail bikes had water storage spots for long back country riding
Thanks!
My first ever dirtbike!
Oh that is cool. Its one of my favorite riders!
they also had an rv90. I have 2 125's and one fixer upper 90.
That's right, I haven't owned a RV90 yet. Would like to get one of the blue RV90s. Love that color.
Can you put a 125 cc rv motor in a rv 90 frame?
Good question. Im sure someone out there has tried it. I am not sure if it would work.
Where is the gas tank on those things? Under the seat I assume.
Under the seat
Yep, gas and oil fill is under the seat.

They are goofy looking bikes but such a fun bike to ride. I have yet to own a 90, but hope to one day. Yes the automixer is the downside.
I'm your 48 subscriber
Right on, thanks for following along.
It had been will cared for.
marty joseph Definitely looks that way!
If it's green it's a 1973.
Oh ok, good to know.
For a axillary gas can
Yep, wish I could find the tank to go in it.
a tank of gazoline for the rack i think
