Considering to Sheger, Food & Transport is cheap. There isn’t much activity or sight in Dire but you will experience different kinds of food.
I only spend 6,500 ETB for 3 days trip to Harar and Dire Dawa (including Plane ticket, Food, Hotel and taxi) i recommend if you travel with groups (at least for two) to lower you expenses.
