He wanted to capitalize on the whole "Hero gets Revenge" popular theme at the time and see if he could make money by making it hardcore. It seems to have worked in terms of bringing a lot of name recognition to him and adding even more eyes to Assassin as well.

It fells very unearned and cheap. However, in The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, the main protagonist is very strong in his old life, a lifetime of assassination tells the audience, and we believe it. All this is to say that the humour in my comment would have been lost if I was technically more right and said “An isekai protagonist that was very very talented in the real world, I love it” Iconically, it’s actually less understandable if I said skilled or talented rather then overpowered because most people who clicked on this video most likely have an understanding in what overpowered means in use of anime, so saying “An isekai protagonist that was overpowered in the real world, I love it” is more universally understood as “oh, a protagonist that was super strong in their old life, so they earn being overpowered in their new life”

I only recently started reading the light novels and i can't believe that all of Season one was only the first volume. This story gets so much better, deserved a second and third season. Epona's arrival will really be interesting.

Lugh keeps denying her but she keeps becoming more and more useful in their demon annihilation missions so he's running out of ways to say no.

Lugh has physical enhancement he'll be fine. Except his ears because he using tungsten to as the bullet I'm guessing and that requires a lot of gunpowder so my God thats gonna hurt his ears.

Honestly, this is one of the best anime opening sequences I have seen this year. I had little to no anticipation in watching this anime (especially since it is from the same author of Redo of Healer). But after watching the OP, I will give this show the benefit of the doubt.
To be fair: Redo of Healer was something special for the Author when you look at what Tsukiyo have written before ( Dungeon Builder, Slime tensei ) this suits hime more than redo.

I'm not someone who likes isekai or edgy stuff much, but it's impressed me so far. A little slow and too much exposition so far, making its light novel roots obvious, but not bad at all. the first episode has two great action setpieces, and the third episode has some really cool exploration of the world's magic system leading up to justifying the existence of a rifle spell.
Late to the party, but I gotta say this has probably the best audio visual coordination and coherence that I have seen in a while. I just love how when the drop hits they juxtapose the racing of the song with fast lead ups to still shots of the characters in different action poses rather than having all of visuals flow like the song. You can tell a lot of heart went into this one and I gotta say I am only going to watch this show because of how amazingly done this opening is.
or the bit where tart sways her hips to show the collapsing staff weapon at the same minute the beat drops. I honestly can't think of another anime that did that sort of stuff that well.

Lugh has physical enhancement he'll be fine. Except his ears because he using tungsten to as the bullet I'm guessing and that requires a lot of gunpowder so my God thats gonna hurt his ears.

this song is amazing, and the show had so much potential, sad they canceled s2 last year.
Honestly, this is one of the best anime opening sequences I have seen this year. I had little to no anticipation in watching this anime (especially since it is from the same author of Redo of Healer). But after watching the OP, I will give this show the benefit of the doubt.
It's quite a bit different from Redo of a Healer. If you didn't already know who wrote it then I doubt you'd be able to tell it's the same author.
To be fair: Redo of Healer was something special for the Author when you look at what Tsukiyo have written before ( Dungeon Builder, Slime tensei ) this suits hime more than redo.

I'm not someone who likes isekai or edgy stuff much, but it's impressed me so far. A little slow and too much exposition so far, making its light novel roots obvious, but not bad at all. the first episode has two great action setpieces, and the third episode has some really cool exploration of the world's magic system leading up to justifying the existence of a rifle spell.

The main character in this anime is the best I’ve seen in a good while
Late to the party, but I gotta say this has probably the best audio visual coordination and coherence that I have seen in a while. I just love how when the drop hits they juxtapose the racing of the song with fast lead ups to still shots of the characters in different action poses rather than having all of visuals flow like the song.
You can tell a lot of heart went into this one and I gotta say I am only going to watch this show because of how amazingly done this opening is.
