What a wonderful series. I’ve watched about 4 so far. Prince Edward is charming and affable, and just so relaxed. Such a pleasure to watch

These documentaries by HRH Prince Edward were the first I saw about historical castles and homes of the aristocracy in the UK. He turned me on to the architecture of the various eras they were built, which began a lifelong love of historical architecture. These documentaries hold up well.

Prince Edward was excellent. He really did a scholarly work on all of this programs. For us American Anglophile it was a real treat to see this kind of honest work. I wish he had been able to continue in it as he is as good as any of those great British historians.

May have been but we are not fools here , The general public in the U K take as much notice of the Media ,as going to the Privy .
We have brains here and appreciate HRH Prince Edward,s amazing series ,he is a natural .
We would like to see him and his lovely Wife Sophie doing much more public duties.
Their family are a credit to H.M. The Queen and to our country ,
God bless The Prince and his family .

I look that those green gardens and wonder if they know how beautiful it all is. I live in a desert and nothing grows very well, Even if you water it all day it could never look like those gardens, We have bugs that eat all those plants over night. It's heart braking to work so hard and it always looks likes it "no doing well"

Yes the Firm loves anything that is about themselves and makes money. Harry loved receiving thirty million pounds for his thirtieth birthday as did William and they approve your ignorance of their family history and British history. Some people make subservience and obeisance a way of life. Son singular denoting Edward Saxe Coburg and Gota. Sons plural or Son's denoting possession as in Edward's series. Reading your comment and others Karen one understands a little the contempt the Royals have for large numbers of less privileged people so willing and quick to doff their caps.

@@philipoconnor4263 Im not from your country & I have no right to say about your Queen & political system. But this series is absolutely gem of work. It's not just history but also tells the world how to preserve History. You may see it as Queens son pampering his family, but we outsiders see it history of Britain that ruled the world and take inspiration to preserve monuments and dates like you guys do.

It was brave and noble of the Dukes of Norfolk to have remained in the Catholic faith especially at a time when Catholocs were persecuted at executed. And produced one of the most famous English saints, Philip Howard.

The rate the RC church is going today, I’m experiencing more modern day protest-ants here in the States.

Two replies disparaging other people’s use of English yet you consistently misspell Gotha and leave out the hyphen in Saxe-Coburg. The R in Republic needs to be capitalised, not to mention the lack of commas.
I suggest that the maxim ‘people that live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones’.
