Larnell has been the best of this entire series.
Haha. Wait till nov.4th
Nikki Glaspie was my favorite
I liked Thomas
Not sure if ''the best'' but surely the most creative one.
Well, him and Thomas Pridgen.
anyone catch that stick switch at 2:42??clean!!
I don't traffic in conspiracy theories
Amazing!!
Is that just for show? I'm not a drummer.
ApolloSol the stick might’ve been getting worn or cracking
Awesome switch and the brother didn't miss a beat. Very Clean indeed. I thought I was the only one who caught that.
the smile on his face makes it so much better
he's definitely the most fun to watch play
Drumming is fun dude
K props to everyone for still keeping time during that drum solo, that's impressive.
Not taking anything away from the players but I'm pretty sure they have some sort of time going in their headphones. You can also often hear preprogrammed claps and finger snaps going through the arrangements. A clever way to keep everyone together when playing challenging tunes with little to no rehearsal time.
@@LukeBass1000 this never occurred to me, but that actually makes a lot of sense
@@musicdev Me neither, I always thought they were just godlike and spent weeks practicing individual songs to know.
Yup. All the musicians are recording with click(metronome) that’s constantly playing in their ears while they
Dude that was unreal... This guy deserves all his endorsements and praise. Finally just nothing but groove and feel. Puts these chop guys to shame. And he's a Christian, he's beyond gifted. Also he's a Zildjian, Yamaha, and Evans guy. Just yes.
Why it matter if he's christian of not? Fuck religion.
@@erbLLLL all you had to comment was about religion, besides all the amazing things he said in his comment. Fuck you revolted teen!
Don't get it twisted he can chop with the best of them
I just watched a man play a reverse cymbal live. I need to go to bed. I'm sorry, I need rest now... 6:04
More of Larnell, please! Who cares how many times he’s on here. I’ll watch!
Just camera on the drums. Clean edits and professional work Zildjian!!
I've been watching this guy for a few years now. One of the most impressive drummers around. I'm just amazed at how clean he plays, his great grooves, and endless bag of chops.
I love this guys drumming…period!!!
Man, that is a killer groove @6:57!!!
Even when he dropped a stick, he never lost the beat. Larnell is a BEAST! So tasteful & innovative.
I love Stanton Moore's reactions on the side lol 2:27 after that stack fill, he started smiling and bobbing his head
Also another reverse cymbal before a stack hit at 3:19
When i say I stayed up knowing I gotta wake up at 4am just to play this over and over .....not even mad ....worth it
Watchin it again lol
Pity the first Zildjan Live! is still the best. There have been some good entries, but no one beats Larnell.
Upcoming: Zildjian LIVE (Mononeon cam)
Absolutely brilliant drumming. The best of the series for sure
I'm digging the sound engineering more on this than the VFJams Live Series
My absolute favorite drummer now 😂. Every hit is a note but that long pause was also a note!!! So dope!!!! How many people you know use a pause as a lick?!?!?! Lol
You said it
This guy knows how to service the song rather then his ego! Tastefully done fills, locked in Rhythm. Best drummer of the series!
Absolutely amazing to watch
I can't count how many times I've come back to watch this video.... This right here is a CLASSIC ! ! ! !
I just cant stop wacthing this
To that stick recovery 2:42 goes craaaazzzzyy
At The end where he used his hands to clap them cymbals was fire
These videos are awesome!!!
Excellent! 👌de formidables Musiciens 🥁.
We're not worthy!!!!.... and dang that mini stack sounded soo sweet. I find myself just smiling and laughing when Larnell plays
FANTASTICOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
stank face activated at that first crossover fill.
Big up for bass Dwayne too.Larnell just pulled off the best solo in years, electric.
I come here often because this makes me genuinely smile... So necessary in the current times... Thanks for this
See a man in his natural habitat and elements....just magical! Great work Zildjian!
This is gold
Lewis is precise and amazing. Great drummer
Positive Vibes from Brazil!
This was done on another Earth--Truly amazing
That Bass man !!! Awesome!!
Lovin' the flava on this one. Damn spicy funk 👌💕
Amazing drummer!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This guy is so technical, it's not even a joke!!! I love this interpretation of his song.
Literally my favorite drummer
Exciting...wow.
6:58 I absolutely love this groove aha
Yes!!!
Beyond dope...
Blessed to have seen him play many times. I'm sure the same is true for most great performers, but believe me when I say you MUST see him live!
Heat🔥🔥
Smooth he's relaxed i love it not doing to much 🔥🔥
Hitting the logs clean! Ohhhh myyyy
Awesome
Hell yeah man.
Deeeammm that was killer, I instantly added this to my " Groove locked " playlist. Stank face and shoulder humpin. Was prominent while watching this. I always "kind "of liked L..L. but this video definitely put him on my list of favorites from now on.
I've literally watched every single one of these that you've uploaded on all social medias hahahaha
Genial!!!!
something about his look makes me smile
Wow. Absolute joy to watch that man play the drums.
The best!
yes the stick switch while still playing very smooth I'm I a drummer to so it's always good to learn different ways and style all have there own technique your a beast
so creative
zildgian live is killing it no?
That man is a genius!!!
Wow. I gotta practice more
Wait......9 people disliked this?.....What?! Larnell is a beast!
He slapped the fucking cymbals
for me hes the greatest drummer alive.very creative intelligent fast powerful techniful versatile rythmic and dynamic player.i put calvin and coleman right up there but when i watch larnell play he never fails to amaze me.the young cats like tony royster and all those talented drummers out there are great players but play many a ways in there comfort zone same old chops nothing new and dont dare step out of playing their comfort genre.God bless larnell i always learn new things from u
Nate Smith belongs in this conversation
Maison Guidry is also versatile as crazy
Went OFF!!!
Só mestres.
wooo excelente ritmo secuencia coordinacion dinamica uuffff ritmo perfecto genial baterista
Mon idole
holy fuck, insane groove
Keeping in funky... I like it
Also, what's that stack hea got to his right?
Tim Wilson Jr. It’s Magic!!!! Check the description to see all the cymbals, stacks included
All this time, I never knew there was a drum only cam!
the best
Watch out Im coming to still your cymbals
🔥
Still the best one made!
What the heck was that with the hihat @6:05 ?!?!? That was pretty sweet!
I don't understand what he's doing. Is he just tapping the pedal on a tightly closed hat to make the sound?
that's almost what it would sound like backwards of when you do an open close high hat.
He has a video on that! Maybe look up “Larnell Lewis hi hat trick.” Basically he starts w/ closed HH, slides the stick down the hi hat edge, and as he does that he opens the hi hat
resbala la baqueta izquierda sobre la orilla del hithat al mismo tiempo que lo toca con la derecha
I'm assuming that's the percussionist, Nathaniel Werth. You can see him in the main video that shows the whole band.
La cagooo!!!!
There is a God...he is Him!
He's very musical
Funkadelic 😎
Scary! ;)
7.12 reminded me of smooth criminal!!
Larnell Lewis and Thomas Pridgens have the best Zildjian performances out of all who did it. 🤷🏿♂️
❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
wait, he threw up the sticks and smashed with his hands.....energy was amazing
Sounds like Mario Kart menu screen music!
nice zildjian
2:40 clean stick grip
My new favorite fill. @0:28
shout out to the cameramen for resisting to groove with the legendary artist in front of them. footage would've been shaking so much if i were them lol
Was that even difficult for him? WTF...........this man is insanely good
Anyone catch that keys swell at 0:46?
who else heard this solo hits on *beat one * ??????!!! 0-0 . epic *cries*
Made the Drums a bit louder in this one?
Enjoyed it!
I think it's an sensory illusion. It's perceived as louder because you can clearly identify all of the sounds at all times. That and you're more focused on the drums as well because you're watching it.
Tasty phases.
Anybody notice Badger from Firefly in the audience at the end?
Crack!!!!!!!!!
Hey Zildjian.....Do you still offer the Dark Complex Ride?
The Dark Complex Ride is no longer in production, but you should still be able to find some available in stores and online.
