Loved this era of TSOL - when they started experimenting a bit without completely abandoning their punk roots. Too bad so many of the orthodox punks back then weren’t along for the ride. This was right about the time people started accusing them of “selling out”. Little did they know that about 5 years later the name TSOL would become associated with hair metal.
Saw them at SIR studios in 1984, with social d, red cross,,, Huge riot that spilled out onto Sunset Blvd. Jack told us to stay seated(about 1500 of us) remain peaceful and in control. But we were to busy tearing the place apart and setting the city on fire. Fucken awesome.

You mean Joe Wood? Jack quit TSOL in 1983.
