Hi, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and experience. I found your channel while searching info on how to remove the belt and tensioner on a M62 tu engine. I looked at your other videos and i have to say the filming and step by step explaination is one of the best i’ve found so far on youtube. I bet your chanel will reach 100 000 k + subscribers pretty soon. Keep on the good work !
Hi buddy, thanks for the compliments. You are very lucky to find this video as it is actually Unlisted. I was planning to release it in the new year. You found it as it is part of the E38 740i playlist otherwise it doesn't show on my channel yet. I hope the channel gains a bit more traction so I can leave my full time job and do this full time as I have the passion and love working on cars. If you enjoy the content please like and share in other places. Hope you are right and I hit 100k subs some day 🥰
Hello mate, yeah i went through pretty much your entire playlist as it helps me understand better what kind of issues i’ll potentialy face at some point even though the only task i have right now is the water pump replacement on my e39 and oil change for the zf gearbox. I also have 2 M54 engines to take care of so i’m looking forward to see some future videos on your 530i. Here in France most of the car market is diesel engine so not much containt on those bmw petrol engine on french chanels. Luckily there’s your chanel and other good quality ones in the US like 50s kidd which i find very informative as well. I’ll definitly point others enthusiast toward your chanel.
Hi Andre Great to hear I have viewers from France, I love France, my wife and I used to live in a small town in Normandie for a year, great times. I have a lot of content to edit and upload on the M54 both with auto and manual gearbox when I finish with the 740i Thanks for watching and for your support. 🤜🤛
You are lucky your car has plastic tank, what a bad idea to put a steel tank in the E38, so glad I didn't have to replace the whole thing as these tanks cost an arm and a leg :( The kitchen knife was the longest sharp thing i could find at the time lol. After this I bought proper Knipex hose cutter :)

@@TheKeenMechanic yes it was a smart move to put a plastic tank in the e39, less work to remove the rust haha
@@Ciulik102 100% less work lol
LIQUID WELD A LOT BETTER .NICE STUFF .
That epoxy is still holding up strong. Very happy with the results so far🔩🔧👍
I am curious.. did this fix the problem? Because it looks like it's leaking from higher up and leaking down the side
Hi. Yes. Almost 2 years later still no issues. The epoxy did the trick
