Brilliant Vlog on Caravans !!!, great to see Telta products and James enthusiasm and knowledge , I would say they will do well. As we are in N.I. it's nice to see the show from a caravaner POV.
Bought Telta canopy last year and it’s fab, needs hi viz guide ropes though easy to put up but I don’t fancy it in that new bag that hangs on the caravan 👍
I absolutely enjoyed this upload Dan and the best part was the Tetla awning update, like yourself we both like Isabella awning’s, I can see this company giving Isabella a run for its money. Dan I am looking forward to your Truma blog as we both have the same unit and what’s new for 2025.
Regarding your comment about the Coachman windows versus the Bailey window. Personally I find the tall thin Bailey window with the two small windows rather claustrophobic due to the solid ceilings above the smaller side windows, whereas the full width high level panoramic window of the Coachman (which you didn’t mention) lets in more light together with the three lower windows. A personal opinion, but it would be interesting to see a comparison of actual total window surface area between the front windows of these two makes.
We went on Thursday. We did exactly the same as you and looked at the very nice Lusso II. We bought a Telta awning last year and love it. I missed the canopy which looks very nice.
Very enjoyable update, looking forward to the other two but I was really surprised how empty the show was. Been a while since we last went and you could hardly move then with long queues to get into anything. So it was quite shocking to see it so empty. bet it was nice for you all to walk around though.
Great video Dan, nice to see a caravan based review of the show, so thanks. Just one thing, I think you’ll find that the ‘small’ fixed beds you mention are actually pushed back, and when pulled out are full length for tall people - that’s certainly the case with the Coachman bed, because we have one just like that in our Laser Xcel 875, except ours is on the right side 😃
Thanks Dan for sharing your video, I was impressed with the canopy, I would have loved to see it being erected and folded away, maybe there is a video out there somewhere, cheers Dan 👍👍.
When you refer to the beds being small, is this width wise or length wise, and if the latter do they have a day (recessed) and night (extended) position? Great reviews thanks.
Hi, thanks for teh comment. Im referring to the width, i appreciate they have day / night mode. Our bed is also transverse, so is tucked away at night. The width of the beds I feel (especially for the premium caravan) is too small.
Hi Dan, I would like to get your opinion on the Coachman 545 Xtra as I'm interested in getting one. Did you manage to see it when you were at the Coachman stand. Thanks in advance. Terry
The best nec vlogger out there I enjoyed this walk around because I'm a caravan owner not motorhome and it's hard pushed if I come across a vlog that relates to caravans 😊10/10 from me dan also do you know if those awnings are all season prove? Or is that wishful thinking on my part lol anyway thank you Dan take care
Thanks for your kind words. The reality is, it’s stuff that interests me. So not Motorhome based. Not sure on the season proof awnings - it’s a question they should be able to answer.
I ended up watching a live from 6 years ago of yours last night lol late night for me ....your pub quiz nights looked great fun wish I was around on tube then but I wasn't....any chance your bring them back in the near future?
Visited the Telta stand as I was interested in the canopy, but I had a question I was hoping would be able to be answered positively. Unfortunately it couldn’t be answered - where is the door to get out when all panels are zipped on? What you have to do is unzip the panel so it is hanging down, not for me i afraid I like it to be neatly tied back - such a shame
That Telta guy is full on sales pitch. Breathable, zero condensation lol😂. The porch awing sounded ok until you realise it’s designed to be on the side of the van while travelling 🤦♂️
Nice one Dan from the motorhome and campervan show. At last a caravan focused video 👍👍
Thank you.

Had a quick look at the Telta awnings today, very taken with the canopy!! Great video as always Dan 👌

@@philmatthews1847 that's good to hear. Yes I think we would always take it off too but overall seems simple to put up 👍
Good to see a caravan review from a caravan vlogger! 😀
Thank you. 🙏

Great vlog. We have just sold our caravan. We have brought a van and are in the process of converting it into a campervan 😊
Fantastic video Dan, really enjoyed the tour of the Caravans . Appreciate the content 👌 thankyou
Thanks 👍
A great Video, thank you. Especially the Xplore light as that is top of my list!
Avoid! They only expect the body to last for 3 years! They front panels are known for cracking on the Elddis range, and they refuse to cover them.
Great video, love the Lusso. I’m a coachman fan as I have one (used) !!

To be fair - most of the filming took place before the show was open.

Cracking vlog Dan thank you. Looking forward to the next one. Regards, Mo 😊👍
Superb Dan well put together
Thanks 👍
Like that Telta canopy idea, with I assume optional sides to turn it in to an awning.
Yes indeed. I understand it has sides and a front as an option.
Thanks Dan for sharing your video, I was impressed with the canopy, I would have loved to see it being erected and folded away, maybe there is a video out there somewhere, cheers Dan 👍👍.
Was great meeting you on Tuesday 😌.
It really was. I hope you had a good visit to the show. 👍
@@TheTrudgians we did. Was great seeing friends. And some fresh new designs. and only spent about £150!
Great, thanks Dan x
My pleasure!
Great video

As a coachman owner I don’t like the Bailey big window 🤪I do agree that the lusso bed is too small though. For the price should be a king size.
Dan, those transverse beds pull out to make a full size double
Thanks, I am aware of this - having a transverse bed ourselves. It’s the width of the bed I refer to. 👍

Wow,James from Telta was superb! How can they get that full awning so cheap? I need to see reviews but tempted
The problem comes with the size of lots of pitches. It wont let you put a Telta awning up as really there is insufficient room at SO many sights.
Hi, ive read this a few times, and i genuinely cannot understand your comment. Am I missing somthing?
Given such a large caravan (Lusso II) you would think they could squeeze another 6 inches to give you a king size bed!
1000% agree with you on this. A bit more place taken from each side of the bed - would make such a difference.
Visited the Telta stand as I was interested in the canopy, but I had a question I was hoping would be able to be answered positively. Almost identical to our old Bailey Ranger 510/4 series 6 just a little shorter.
That Telta guy is full on sales pitch. Breathable, zero condensation lol😂.
The porch awing sounded ok until you realise it’s designed to be on the side of the van while travelling 🤦♂️
What’s the issue with it staying on whilst travelling? Our old rollaway canopy stayed on the side while travelling. Never had an issue.
@@TheTrudgians from a loading point of view it’s pretty much the worst place to carry any weight.
Might as well call it the motor home show.
And call the February show the caravan show. Good vlog Dan but I’m glad I didn’t go.
👍👍
The links to TELTA website is a scam , cannot find any details of the range on the web
I’m confused, how can a website that doesn’t have the BRAND NEW products listed as yet be a scam?
