You can say “pop the trunk” or “open the trunk” use whatever you’re comfortable with. I use both sometimes like it doesn’t matter. Sometimes it depends on where you live in America. There’s no wrong or right. Everyone speaks different across America so don’t feel ashamed if most people are telling you it’s not this it’s that. It doesn’t really matter like everyone is different.
