It does my heart well to know all these true men exist out there. We are truly brothers. Not just in arms, but in spirit of being grounded humans. God Bless and be safe.
My box has been ready for years. Hope I never need it but it's there. Thanks for all the pointers n for teaching people who aren't ready man. You guys keep in the fight n I love it
I’m very encouraged to see all the people that have awakened and getting squared away watching your videos. They are way ahead of the Learning curve by following your advice. You’re a great example of someone taking the skills and blessings that God has given, and using them to bless others. keep up the good work and I hope to see you on the trail in February 10th in Summerville.
Here's something that most, if not all, haven't noticed. Your vehicle. A 1980s Toyota land cruiser. No fancy computer, no on-star, GPS, no nothing. Easy to work on. Very good choice.
First thing I noticed actually. Many videos ago…I’ve had 3 hilux pickups, 91’ Land Cruiser, and currently 2001 tundra (hunting truck) 2018 tundra, and got the wife an 18 4Runner. Makes me feel proud that a man of faith, navy seal hero drives a Land Cruiser. Greeting from Alabama. Nuff said.
Wish i could afford a plate carrier. My tactics are: avoid combat, dont be seen and dont get shot! Im old school so i use an LBV88 with a 70s pistol belt and ALICE gear. I carry 6 5.56 mags on the vest and 4 M9 20 rounders on the belt. I Love the shoulder straps on the LBV over the old H or Y suspenders, its super comfortable and distributes the weight really well even with about 30~35 lbs of gear but you do sweat. I carry about 10 hrs of water and 48 hrs of sustainment gear on the pistol belt with a butt pack. I call it my EMP walkin kit. God forbid i ever have to use it in real life but i walk with it every week just to stay fit and stay used to the weight and feel of it.
Great content! I use my Decked truck bed drawer system as my war box. One side has my plate carrier with the Shot Stop GT2 plates, rifle and pistol mags, aid kit, spare ammo and some tools. The other side has my get home bag, extra food, water, shelter, etc. I am in the process of setting up a vehicle specific war belt so I can go from my EDC carry of my handgun straight to my war belt - but crap is expensive! Ya'll take care and stay strapped.
Thank you Chadd, been learning a lot from you and the men out there. Went to a gun show and it was overwhelming but cool! Starting to put my own stuff together and weapons of choice.
Love yr teaching & strategies Chadd. This old gal has eyes wide open to hiw MY precious country gas fallen & shes having trouble fetting up under this corript admin. God help Us🥰👍🇺🇲
I have the gun belt, a plate carrier and a H - harness with chest rig. At present my plate carrier has llla front, back and sides. All soft armor. This is for my wife. We hopefully will not be running and gunning. I'm 66 she's 62. But if necessary we can move for a while. Stay safe out there. And it's never nuff said..there is always more to learn.
Good video. Level 4 Ceramic front/back plates and then soft body armor for sides and extended front protection is another good variation for a plate carrier.
Hey bro, did you hear about the shot stop body armor scandal? The NIJ tested some plates off their production line and they failed. It was found that they snuck some Chinese materials into the plates. The company is going under. Just a suggestion, maybe consider some hesco plates…….
I've been waiting for this one since the subject first aired. I have a FLC vest ($20.00 at military surplus store) for my mag pouches in my war box, along with a flashlight, batteries, multi tool, and small binocs. I have a few more items I must get including 550 paracord. Thanks for the very useful information Chadd!!!!
Nice setup one thing be careful with rubber bands if they get much sun the uv breaks them quick especially up in the northern rockies at 10,000'. The uv is so high ive had cheap rubber bands break in 2 days. Make sure you look at them for cracks and replace as needed.
Can you do a video that would instruct guys like most of us that are not trained up SEALS to use the gear or what to do when confronted with the treats that we might encounter WTSHTF?
Funny how opinions can differ. If I can only choose 1, I’m going with a quality gun belt. No chest rig (unless contact expected) And a backpack with all the extra supplies. I found this setup to be the most maneuverable for sure when covering distances.
In the event folks at home need to don gear, what gear would be suited for a more low profile/ covert setup? To not draw unwanted attention to yourself and loved ones a PC and gun belt doesn’t help with staying off the radar and keeping a low profile in an urban environment, I wish we lived in the country but that’s not our current reality. Thank you Chadd for the info and letting us learn through your experiences Sir!
For concealable body armor, there are vids posted already. In short, wear a Fetterman hoodie. Or wear a windbreaker. Or if you are in the North and need a parka, just wear that. And wear armor underneath. Soft armor conceals well enough. Hard armor can be concealed with the right outer covering. It's a little easier with a slick carrier. Steel plates are about 1/4 inch thick if you feel ceramic is too fat. As a general rule I would put some padding under any plate. Between your body and the plate.
I have ShotStop plates. I heard last week that they disbanded and got caught using substandard material. They are no longer in business. It makes me wonder if my plates are still any good but I guess they’re better than nothing.
Just remember yall, you will not be resupplied like the military is so make sure you train often and have more water and ammo then you think you will ever need on you. I carry 12 liters of water in my bug out bag with ways to plus up to 22L and 600 rounds of ammo in my mags for my ar. If its heavy then train in it to strees test all your gear in every way.
Might be good to keep in vehicle even with the expense. Depends on the individual. I commute 75 miles one way daily. I'd rather have in the vehicle. Chances are very good we may not be at home when we need this. But we need to get back home to the family.
My box stays in jeep. Jeep isn't nothing fancy it is in almost mint state for a 2001 but there is so many of these things in my area it blends in well. I have a gorilla tote with dual locks. Sure it can be broken Into but alarm will sound and 90% of the time a thief runs at sign of trouble
I agree with you on kitting things to be a minuteman if needed, I try to also keep some food and water in my qrf kit. IMHO I think once the box is pulled from the closet, the rifle should be added should ride with the kit. Your video got me thinking too, what about footwear and some clothes. Yeah and someday, a bump helmet and an anpvs14. As an aside, I am interested in hearing more about how you can use an IR laser to communicate with others in your team if you wouldnt mind. Thanks like your videos, Long live the republic. A friend in Rio Rancho NM.
I always see soldiers training with big heavy backpacks. Do soldiers throw the backpack on after this kit you speak of? Plus, I see some military with a pistol on the chest. What's up with the pistol on the chest rig?
Hey Chad, first of all thank you for all of the info you post for us. I wanted to suggest a video. I know the war box is not supposed to perpetually be in the vehicle, but when it is, it needs to be secured and there are a few options out there for exactly that. Was wondering if you wouldn't find it interesting yourself, but also if it would make some good content for a video. I'm familiar with certain products and ideas to accomplish is, but I thought maybe it'd bee a good video and info for the rest, including myself. I'm sure you have a couple of ideas that most, no matter their experience and knowledge, would be glad to know. Thanks again, and by the way, love you too brother.
I've had my car broken into 3 times in 30 years. not super often but each time I lost all contents. I'd be afraid to leave gear and weapons in the car if I had to park around town doing errands.
I live in New York City and I've had my car broken into twice, losing A couple thousand in tools and supplies,I ended up cutting out and squaring off my tire well and adding a lid with a lock .
I’ve never seen a man with a beard 5X as long as his shorts. Bold move.
Lolop
That’s the kind of man you just stop and say, understood.
😂
He's earned the confidence to do so..with his background most wouldn't make fun of him!!lol

I love your no nonsense, practical approach to readiness. Great job!

All the people lol, what %? 5?
Now just beware corrupt law enforcement willing to abuse their position.
Here's something that most, if not all, haven't noticed.
Your vehicle.
A 1980s Toyota land cruiser.
No fancy computer, no on-star, GPS, no nothing.
Easy to work on.
Very good choice.
I was wondering about the vehicle - similar to Jeep Cherokee - now I know, great, I want one.
I noticed immediately. Can’t beat an old Toyota
Not cheap, but worth every penny.
First thing I noticed actually. Many videos ago…I’ve had 3 hilux pickups, 91’ Land Cruiser, and currently 2001 tundra (hunting truck) 2018 tundra, and got the wife an 18 4Runner.

Agree on the "avoid getting shot at" aspect.

Thanks so much Chadd, there are a lot of people who need to see and hear this info. Just starting out, survival and gear packing. 🙏🇺🇲👍👍

Love this series!
Thanks Chadd
Love this time of year. And hate these holidays
My parents still have my old boy scout foot locker from summer camp, I'm going to go check if it's still in good enough shape to make my war box.
Excellent advice. Thank you. Beautiful background for the video, too.
Nice truck 🤙the colour, the age, the condition. 👌moi, making me miss my old truck man.

I’ve had my Leatherneck MUT for over 12 years. Glad to hear some people still keep em around too.
Great content. Thank you!
James Reeves aka: Gunshorts would be proud!
I do need to get organized. I appreciate this series.
Great Shorts
Thank you Chadd n Chilly !
My war box would be spilling out of those shorts.
😂
Get you some 1 inch mesh Chadd talks about in the other video
Thank you Chad! Are we able to get a video of the rest of your war box?
Please continue this series!
Chadd, bride bought me a DECKED DRAW system for my 2018 Tacoma. Locks up nice.
Nice job brother
Thanks Chad!
Great video Chadd the people judging your shorts have a long road ahead for them but a lot of great takeaways in this keep producing great content.
He's going to be fighting in those shorts is hilariously cool 😎
Love your content, bro. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.🙏🏽💪🏽🤘🏽

thanks,,,,,great video
Thank you
Great tips and example
You can only control yourself, your words, your actions....
that's a fact. Other than that you are just along for the ride.
I have those Mat Bock adjustable lens thingy's for your nods you can just dial it in pin point or big eye and plus it protects your lens

Great view
Chad and James Reeves need to have a short shorts competition.
Love these videos. Ready to see the other one.

More and more businesses these days are being bitten by the shrinkflation(greed)bug!
@@robertlawson698I've felt the greed bug in almost every part of my life recently.
I’ve trained with both the carrier and H gear and, yes, the harness is more comfortable, by a mile. But you can’t beat protection.
Good stuff, would love to see your plate carrier up closer because you have some great ideas.
A good multitool is mandatory. I have a Gerber in a pouch on my belt that I never go anywhere without, unless I need to board a plane
Went to the airport in a rush and forgot I had it in my Fanny pack. Got taken.
Thanx for reminding me I need to inspect my box and make sure the moths ain’t eat that stuff!
Great video man! Only forgot one really important item…. Those shorts! We can be running and gunning without comfort ! 😉
Enjoying this series
