In this video, we show you all flumes at Wet 'n Wild North Shields (Wet n Wild Newcastle), United Kingdom. The indoor water park is outfitted with a total of 10 water slides that look similar at first glance - almost all of them are green pipes - but provide a very different sliding experience. While flumes like The Tempest or The Mistral offer quite a family-friendly ride, attractions like The Tornado with its intertwining speed slides or the Kamikaze with its insanely steep drop are dedicated to the thrill-seekers. We really enjoyed our day at Wet n Wild!

In diesem Video zeigen wir euch alle Rutschen im Wet n Wild North Shields bei Newcastle Upon Tyne, Großbritannien. Der Indoor-Wasserpark kommt mit insgesamt zehn Wasserrutschen daher, die auf den ersten Blick zwar alle fast gleich aussehen (ein Großteil der Rutschen ist grün), im Endeffekt aber alle ein ganz eigenes und abwechslungsreiches Rutschgefühl vermitteln. Während Rutschen wie The Tempest oder The Mistral eher familienfreundlich ausgerichtet sind, kommen die Adrenalinjunkies eher bei The Tornado mit seinen verflochtenen Röhrenrutschen oder The Kamikaze mit dem unfassbar steilen Drop auf ihre Kosten. Es war ein genialer Tag im Wet n Wild!

In deze video laten we jullie alle glijbanen van Wet 'n Wild North Shields zien. Wet 'n' Wild ligt vlakbij Newcastle upon Tyne in Engeland en is een groot indoor waterpark met maar liefst 10 waterglijbanen. De glijbanen lijken op het eerste gezicht heel op elkaar (ze zijn bijna allemaal groen), maar de belevenis is dan toch heel anders. Er zijn wat tammere glijbanen zoals The Mistral of The Tempest maar er is ook iets in aanbod voor de waaghalzen - zoals de Tornado met zijn twee in elkaar verdraaide glijbanen of de Kamikaze met een mega vette val! Het was in elk geval een mooie dag in Wet n Wild!

I only went there once. While I was there I did the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done and then later on, bashed my head on one of the slides

Dang I remember going on the water slides a couple years back, and I was absolutely terrified lol. I think I went on the tempest, the black hole, calamity canyon a couple times, and the mistral. It was fun at the time, but I won’t do it again since I’m really claustrophobic.
And the place is pretty disgusting too, the condition of the slides, badly managed, etc.
Unfortunately the park was closed down not too long ago. At the moment it‘s not clear whether or not it will open again in the future.
TUBERIDES I live nearby to this wet n wild, it normally closes down over the winter months and reopens from April to about October. It won’t be closed down permanently, they just normally do that with the water park every year.

Its a real shame this place is no longer open. I remember going here so much as a 10/11/12 year old kid. It is so sad that i have to travel so far now for the nearest waterpark to my home now.
It's a shame indeed, the slides were super fun, especially the interlocking corkscrew ones.

The kamikaze is the best slide there by far, it’s a vertical drop and you feel like you’re falling forever. When I went in it i asked the worker if it was scary and he leaned in and whispered “bloody terrifying”
Well, their is a reason the kamikaze uses the most advanced water filtration system known to mankind.
It removed 99.9% of human solid waste.
I've been to this 3 times my favourite slide is the Black Hole

I love the cyclone but when I go in it oh my god I feel claustrophobic- my favourite slide is definitely the abyss it's just so fun it probably would be the kamikaze but I don't have the guts to go on it 😂

Before this place closed down and re-opened again, I went and rode the Tornado, and when I got to the end, the splash was so powerful, it actually threw me out of the exit pool and I landed on the solid ground. I got a small cut on my ankle from that. I think I was 7 or 8 when that happened.

I was here last week, what a wonderful place for both Adults and Children! We also had an issue with one of the Life guards and received a full refund from the manager. Excellent customer service by management!

Are you sure it's open? As far as I know, Wet 'n' Wild will remain closed until Easter.

I went on Friday and the kamikazi is scary. You R like in mid air but it was really fun! (nearly drowned in the pool with the waves).

I go to South Shields every year, right across from North Shields. Where wet and wild is! We’re going this year x
3 things.
1. some of those slides look like they have mold growing on them.
2. the tornado thing looks a bit dangerous.
3. how the heck does that abyss thing work??

The place has been refurbished in the past few months. This must have been filmed a while ago. The tornado isn't dangerous at all because the water at the end literally stops you in your tracks and yes abyss is just a drop slide that has an extra lay off zone to prevent riders from hitting the wall at full speed

JustWhy aha no not dangerous but if you push yourself down hard enough like they did you will come off the slide , I do all the time best slide there 😂

Same. I went on it once, the first time I ever went there and never again. I couldn't breathe the whole way down, water was gushing into my mouth and it seemed to take ages to get to the bottom. I came out the other side in a total panic. That's why I never went on the Kamikaze, I wasn't scared of the drop but the long part at the bottom where you're flat on your back with water going up your nose. I always had a horrible fear that they'd have put the hatch on the bottom end but not the top so I'd get stuck in that part and drown 😅 they had it closed for a bit once when I was there and I was paranoid about it from then on. The Black Hole was the best slide for me. I loved it. I can't remember if the Abyss was there the last time I was there or not. I'm sure it was the last one they added but I can't remember if I've been on it. I wish it would reopen so I could take my kids. We're going to Royal Quays next weekend for the gaming warehouse so they'll probably see it and ask about it. I'm gutted I have to say no, it's shut down. Some urban explorers were just inside the place recently and it looks spooky all dark, empty and silent. It's sad man, my whole childhood is gone. Metroland, The Spanish City and this place were class.
@@melodyvalentine8779 My experience was the exact same and it left me traumatised of that slide for the rest of its existence 😂 Because the tube was so tight I was just bouncing off the edges flying down trying to cover my face because of the water splashing up my nose. Was basically coughing up chlorine by the time I reached the bottom

One of the waterslides threw me out of the exit pool when I was about 7 or 8. I have a feeling that it was this one. If it really is faster for you if you're taller, then I bet I'll end up with more than a small cut on my ankle when I go, this Friday. I'm pretty sure I'm twice as tall now than I was when I last went!!!!

tuberides1 I know, but I thought it at first. When you look at some other slides it's perfect and it doesn't look faster when going in the ending bits (can't come up with the name) Maybe it just has some lost frames or that slide is just totally insane.
