    Arabezi /3arabizi/ is a romanized version of Arabic that was used originally in games that didn't support the Arabic language, it has later evolved to be a part of our daily use in Arabic speaking nations.
    It's similar to leet /1337/ though the purpose is different.

    • @jccbm
      @jccbm  2 роки тому +4

      That's cool. Are there any other number characters other than 2 and 3?

      Great content by the way, you did your best with arabic it's not an easy language, even for us native speakers, it's so complicated but still very beautiful and unique.

    Great job! Greetings from Cairo..BTW we use numbers when we write Arabic using the English alphabet

      Thanks! Yes, it looks pretty weird if you're not used to it, but it's a very creative way to expand beyond the 26 Latin letters to represent Arabic sounds.

    The Duolingo Arabic is a white dialect. They mix MSA with dialectal grammar and drop case endings in order to simplify it.

    • @jccbm
      @jccbm  2 роки тому +8

      Yeah. I guess it's sort of an academic middle-ground so you can then fall into whichever variant you want.
