It’s also about networking preferential connections, industry bribes (including but not limited to fiscal or material nature), “I scratch your back you scratch mine.” Plenty of people have been planted early on but still didn’t get exposure despite giant prime real estate billboards etc. so it usually takes multiple marketing angles. Not saying Rina is a plant tho. (I still like her either way). Just saying it happens.
