It seems you haven't left the country except of course if not for the beautiful architectures found in your country, Germany. Filipinos are really everywhere. You can find them in every part of the world. When you attend mass in the Philippines it would be fully packed but seldom do they have gatherings after the mass, probably because there are thousands of attendees.
Happiness Crossing yes and which do you prefer, the cold or the tropical climate? Have you gone to Baguio City? It is the summer capital of the Philippines. When you return to the country, you must visit it. There are no aircons in the malls, only the city's natural cool temperature because of its high altitude, the mountains, and the pine trees.

Happiness Crossing If you know a Filipino whose spouse is in the US military, or who, herself/himself is in the military stationed in Germany, the commissaries would surely have lots of Filipino food items because of the Filipinos. All that stuff you gave your friend can be found there. But of course, you have to have a friend who has an ID card to get in. Unfortunately, food items in the commissaries are only for the consumption of the people stationed on that base. The US commissaries all have Filipino food items no matter where one is stationed even if the local community doesn’t. We are also very good at substituting and improvising the ingredients when we can’t find the right items. We usually make do with what’s available.
That was really nice that you guys went to a Filipino Mass and gathering, I did not expect they have a huge filipino community in Germany. Thanks for sharing.

I've been living in the US since 2005 and had been home only 4 times. That was the 1st holiday I spent with family since 1986 and hope to visit again this year, as soon as things clear up a bit.

Thank you for vlogs on Philippines & our people! I am now permanenetly living in the USA since 2005. Left in 1986 for the Middle East as hotel staff and met my husband (ex) there, moved to Japan 2 years. 1996, we returned to Bahrain until 2002, moved to US back to the US for 1 year, and then 2 years in Iceland, and have been to 15 countries since I left Philippines (lived in 4 countries). I've been living in the US since 2005 and had been home only 4 times. During my last visit home to PI, I had enjoyed the 1st Christmas and New Year, prior to the pandemic and glad I was able to spend time home longer. That was the 1st holiday I spent with family since 1986 and hope to visit again this year, as soon as things clear up a bit.
