It didn't turn at all sometimes, others it would stick engaged. Sometimes when the starter is hot, electrical connections can open up and break the circuit. Have you tightened the starter terminals enough?
@greenerman I haven't been under there yet, looks pretty simple to change so I might do that. I was thinking solenoid sticking open circuit when really hot, only does it intermittently but getting worse.
Hi...my relay has trouble starting during the cold months sometimes it could take 10 attempts any advice i dont mind getting a new starter plus which would you recommend please
Hi there, thank you for your question. I hope that others can offer their replies too. I cannot recommend any starter, but always choose a decent company, mine was a Bosch refurb if I remember correctly. Is it more difficult to start when cold or hot?

Well check the terminals and if it was me I would change it, an unreliable vehicle gets me down man 😊
Have a go and let me know what you find
