Great video. I rigged something like this in my rv bathroom. When looking for a switch remember 2-pole with 6 contacts, a single pole with 3 contacts won't due you any good. Also in most applications you will probably want to a "latching" or "maintained" switch, not a "momentary". On several occasions I've accidentally ordered momentary switches.

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed but the problem that I'm facing is that instead of a toggle switch, I need a push button switch so that when the vehicle collides with something such as a wall, it reverses the direction. So do you guys know if a push button DPDT is available in markets?

Not to be negative, (no pun intended) but you didn't switch anything when you said you could switch it around. The same wires went to the same places! The two double wires went to the motor in both ways and the two single wires still went to the power supply.
You might as well have said "head I win & tails you lose."
