That's one of the most awesome things I have seen.... Wow guys. What a voice! Maiden should really notice this and bring you on stage for a song. Would be awesome.

You just reminded me how powerful and beautiful Bruce and Ronnie sound. I never realized how close their voices were until watching you sing.
I don't know how "close" they are, but they are both amazing singers, as is the guy covering Bruce's vocals. There are some songs that sound pretty crappy when sung by other people, no matter how good that performer is. It DOES sound like this song would be great, if Mr. Dickinson actually sung it himself so I do see what you mean. I think, when the music is spot on to the original song, it makes it that much more pleasant to listen to.
Both amazing singers most definitely. But there is absolutely no one that compares to Dio to my ears. He had the most powerful voice I've ever heard in my life.

@Marcus Torres 'Dublar'? Vamos lá: Raphael Mendes tem o mesmo timbre vocal de Bruce... Portanto, ele CAN-TA como Bruce Dickinson... Mesmo que ele 'emulasse' os vocais de Bruce, ainda assim, ao vivo soaria bem próximo pois já existe aqui mesmo por esta plataforma, alguns vídeos dele cantando ao vivo. Nada como ensaios e pocket shows para criar um repertório e vê-lo cantar inúmeras músicas do Iron ou Bruce solo com muita similaridade.

Incredible! You all sound astoundingly perfect. Raphael is amazing, of course - it's uncanny how much he captures Dickinson's delivery - but the whole band nails the sound of recent Maiden, which really sells the effect. With my eyes closed, I would fully believe this is a lost Maiden B-side. Cheers!

Thank god i could see Ronnie live in Milan. I still can remember his infinite power and musical joy. Raphael, i am pretty sure Bruce would smile when listening to y ou, as looking into a mirror. Incredible!
I can clearly remember listening to the Holy Diver album for the first time as a teenager in my mates bedroom back when it was first released. I was genuinely blown away. This version is so accurate for Bruce’s vocals. Insane.
I pre-paid for a cassette copy of Holy diver at the local music shop. Finally getting my hands on it, was an awesome day.

Many years ago I saw a Metallica cover band Battery is what I think they were called but the one guy in the band did a Motorhead song Ace of spades I think, I closed my eyes and could swear it was Lemy singing.

What we can hear through this song is that even Dickinson would have to put a lot of effort in order to perform this properly.
Conclusion: Dio was a freaking Beast
Meh, it's not 'levels of effort' where a song is 'harder' to sing than another- it's about what your voice naturally sounds like vs what you want/can make it sound like.
For example, there's no way DIO could sound good singing 'dont fear the reaper'- it would just be totally 'wrong' lol or vice versa for Bunch Dharma singing 'last in line'.

We can not compare vocalists, musicians, because it is art, not machines. Appreciate what we are given & enjoy. Yes Dio is a beast,awesome performer, vocalist artist. As are many of the Rock genre musicians. I enjoyed Dio with Black Sabbath as much as i do Ozzy.
Just because this guy put a lot of effort to sing it doesn’t mean Bruce would have to. For all we know it could be a walk in the park for him to sing this.

I have almost no self esteem at all but with music as my deepest passion, I take it very seriously and always strive for improvement and so I can say confidently that I am l one hell of a singer

Tem um áudio antigo em que o Bruce, de fato, foi chamado ao palco pelo Dio e eles cantaram justamente a Rainbow in the Dark. Bom, o Bruce ao menos tentou, e dá pra perceber nitidamente ele cantando algo como "I don't know all the words of this song" e aí mais algo que não consegui entender e Dio continuou "you're just a picture, you're an image caught in time" (...). Bom, quanto a essa versão do Raphael e banda, espetacular e só confirma o que eles vêm fazendo há algum tempo!! Tomara que de alguma forma isso possa chegar aos ouvidos do Bruce, ele curta e quem sabe, role de eles se encontrarem. Up the Irons!! 🤘🤘

WOW! He really does sound like Bruce Dickinson in his prime. So is that an impression or just the way he sounds when he sings? Dickinson has such an impressive voice that not many can copy him correctly. Usually you need a woman to reach that vocal range in a cover band. This is excellent. If you just heard it, without video, you would be confused as hell. You would actually think it was a younger Bruce Dickinson doing a Dio song.
