Krave Beauty's Great Barrier Relief serum has been amazing. I also really like the Eucerin Redness Relief cleansing gel.
Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream is saving my face from overexfoliation (lactic acid+retinol would do that to you).
Sioris - Time Is Running Out Mist.. perfect toner mist for dry Canadian winter..(also Spring and Fall :P)
MediHeal sheet masks! My favourites are NMF and Placenta, but really all of them are great! You can get them on YesStyle, I have tried the Dr Jart mask before and in my opinion, these are better!
loreal-paris-makeupremover for eyes and lips, it is cheap, effective and with a little oil, good for dry eye areas. I must try the Origins pink mask. Happy Newyear 🥳🥳

DHC cleansing oil is my HG but I no longer support them so ill be switching to the Hada Labo Gokyujun cleansing oil instead. My new skincare 2020 find and fav is the Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Lotion!

I would love to try the COSRX Snail Mucin serum. We have a similar skin type and live half of the year in cold weather, so I use chemical exfoliants a lot too. The snail mucin can help with wind burns and with the occasional sensitivity from exfoliating. 😄
Have you tried bareMinerals' Oil Obsessed Total cleansing oil? It's the first one I've tried and I'm liking it so far!
My fave of 2020 is La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + (european version😅), when my skin is behaving meh, it's my saviour!

Loved this video! You always have such good, reasonably priced recommendations. Got 2 items for ya: Have you tried the Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer? Holy moly, you will love it! I know you like light, but really hydrating gel type moisturizers. This one is incredible and has a lot of the same ingredients that the FAB does like oatmeal & feverfew extract. So soothing! If you’re looking for a sunscreen with a similar texture that’s also Japanese (so that water gel formula) try the Verdio OMI UV Moisture Gel. It’s wonderful and dries down beautifully. Only about $12 too.
Tops on my list to try is the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum. So luxurious!

My best finds last year were from the Time Revolution line of Missha: The First Treatment Essence, and Probio Ampoule. Both products have really made my skin so moisturized, supple and smooth, and has helped me prevent any formation of wrinkles on my face. ❤️
The COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin is truly the BEST - it's so simple and hydrating. I find it works really well to soothe and hydrate your nose if it gets dry from using tissues (I have bad seasonal allergies so this was a happy discovery for me!)
I really want to check out the By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid and the COSRX pimple patches, hopefully to help in the uphill battle against mascne.
I dont get it about the cosrx pimple patches. I bought one and it did NOTHING for me...😔

I'm also a big fan of the Cosrx Snail Mucin (almost done with another bottle and have one at the ready - it'll be half off in the Ulta Skin sale this month too!), FAB Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer (will also be in the Ulta half off sale), Bioderma Micellar Water, and the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner (almost out, deciding whether or not to repurchase). I know a lot of people talk about the Biore Aqua Rich Essence so that's been on my list to try, but you're the first I've heard talk about the Isntree Mugwort sheet masks and those sound like something I should be adding to my list for 2021!
this is petty, but I refuse to buy (especially pricey) products with ugly or poor packaging (with so many options on the market there are lots of good quality products in good packaging). I never buy first aid beauty (fugly packaging) or philosophy (wasteful, terrible packaging to use the product). I know - it may sound petty, but there are good products with good packaging on the market.
Have you ever tried The Face Shop Rice Water cleansing oil? Its my favorite cleansing oil so far, but never tried DHC. Wondering if its worth the price difference.
Have you tried Paula's Choice? I've been using their benzoyl peroxide treatment and 2% BHA (anti redness) and it made the biggest difference in my skin last year!

My oily acne prone skin just loves and absorbs snail essence and birch sap moisturizer .

The best skincare brand I started using in 2021 is the Glycolic Night Serum by Drunk Elephant honestly!!! It totally transformed the texture of my skin. I am in my 30s... This serum totally reduces the appearance of my wrinkles and my acne outbreak. I discovered the I'm From Honey mask which is awesome as well as the Rovectin Activating Treatment Lotion. The Rovectin is pure skin hydration and comfort this winter. I already use a lot of these products, but I would love, love to try the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum.

I have sensitive skin so I know the struggle and I love and use most of your favorites but I also recommend some other favorites:
Missha Aqua Sun gel Spf 50
Hada Labo cleansing oil
Aromatica aloe vera gel
Goodal vitamin C dark spot serum
Cosrx Salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser
The ordinary Rose Hip seed oil
Honestly I’m not consistent with my skincare at all. I mean I usually wash my face and of course double cleanse if I’m wearing makeup. More often than not I skip moisturiser cause my skin is luckily pretty infused. The thing that I never miss doing is using the Biore UV essence, sunscreen everyday y’all. I stocked up when I was in Japan in early 2020 but not sure if the would have expired by now.
I like a lot of the same skincare products and ingredients that you like. I like pretty much anything with mugwort, and pretty much anything from First Aid Beauty. Those CosRX patches are great too. I also love that Fresh Sugar Caramel lip balm, it's so yummy! I really want to try the CosRX Snail Mucin.
I'd love to try the Isntree Mugwort Sheet Mask and the DHC cleansing oil for my acne prone skin.

I would love to try the Origins eye cream that you've recommended. I used to buy Origins all the time and would like the get back to using some of their skincare. I agree that the Fresh Caramel lip balm is utterly amazing! I am still working on finishing my little jar of it. As far as skincare I discovered this year is concerned, I found the best body moisturizer from Zeep Bath and Body that they call Body Meringue. They're a small company out of Kansas, USA with tons of great scents. The Body Meringue they make is the only product that keeps my cuticles from peeling and getting super dry in the winter. It's probably the best body moisturizer I've ever used, and I've tried tons. Like you, I live in a place where it's cold and snowy in the winter, so I always have several bottles on hand.
Hi Emily, I found that the DHC oil started smelling quite badly like cooking oil as I got to 3 quarters through the bottle 🙈 Great oil but for now l will stick with my Clinique date the day off balm 👌🏼 This is great !

Costco had really good deals on both the Bioderma and the DHC recently. Husband swears by the DHC cleansing oil. :)
I want to try the snail serum (still haven't gotten around to it) and that caramel lip balm. I have a burts bees caramel lip balm and it's not even that great but the smell has me hooked - the fresh one sounds amazing!

I feel like the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask dries my lips so much more than a regular cheap balm, it might be just me. It's the reason why I'm now on the hunt for something else, but I don't want to pay that extra money and fail again, so it's difficult!
If you can find it, the Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm might be what you're looking for!
