I would have liked to see the gems account bound instead of soulbound personally. Being able to funnel the best gems to your alts early on would have added a layer of fun.

Definitely. Especially since they still scale with your gear, so its not like youd be super overpowered - and even if we were, thats kinda the whole point anyway
Nah, I want the RNG progression on my alts. It makes it so cool when a BiS gem drops.
You can trade them to someone you trust and they trade it to your alt

There's an npc in the bank at the shrines that sells 36 slot bags for 10 bronze each. Might as well upgrade your bank before the remix is over.
Do they actually carry over, though? I think when they convert your character it erases all the Remix stuff and replaces it with a basic level boost setup.
isnt blizzard making changes to the bank next expansion?

@@iGizmoTech I know there will be a warband specific bank. All you alts and use it. But you separate character banks will no long require bags. you just purchase a tab at increasing gold prices. Think Guild banks, but with the character specific bank layout we have now.
additional tip: max out the Prismatic Gems at Legendary Quality as you level, they will help with the scaling at 60+ as they give the most of that stat + STA, which equals a TON of health when all is said and done.
MoP:Remix feels like playing WoW:Last Epoch with the combo synergies

Those are great synergies, Soul! I also like the one that ramps up your core stat when you take damage and how it synergizes with the one that will sacrifice health (but not below 80%) to make you hit for extra holy damage. I'm doing brewmaster monk and still in my "general loadout" phase, and there are some I can move around now as I approach 70!
If you have enough healing and can trigger it, Righteous Frenzy is much better. does 1% health/s which means it works no matter how much stamina you have. Fervor, the health sapping one you're talking about, only does a set amount of damage, scaling with gear, even if you have a max ilvl gear piece, frenzy will probably still win out.
If you want a really insane combo, low level priest with holy nova, searing light, and at least 1 high level player nearby you can heal while doing damge. It deletes enemies.
Tried to summarize what's stated.
Tank (Shields): Tinkmasters Shield; Frost Armor and Enkindle
Tank (Dmg and Leech): Mark of Arrogance, Sunstriders Flourish and Vampiric Aura
AoE (Crits): Meteor Storm and Opportunist
AoE (Death Dmg): Slay, Brittle and Victory Fire
Victory Fire is extremely good when solo, but not great when in a group. Only the player who gets the killing blow benefits.

I've been maining fire mage for years, but leveling a ret pally in MOP Remix. I'm loving the blink gem.
Trailblazer is my current Cogwheel, +30% speed as long as you dont attack is hella useful, if i need to move while in combat my steed is ready.
Very good suggestion of gems combo. I put it on my gear and the result is impressive.
Better way to organize the bags in Remix for me has been BetterBags with Narcissus.
Better bags groups gems by slot type, so I don't really have to worry about organizing them. And Narcissus eliminates the hassle of of dragging them left and right every time I get an upgrade.
What addon do you use to show damage numbers?
i'm wondering if i should buy from the vendor the random prismatics till i get the legendary gems i need. i can farm 40k bronze per day easy. is it a good way or should I upgrade my gear first ?
I really liked it best in the 60-70 range with 330 gear, thought. Spent hours on perfecting those scenrios and had toreally use every skill to its fullest..

There were fast spawning frog rares on timeless isle that players grouped up and abused to get very far ahead on thread collecting for their capes while also farming tons of bronze. They nerfed it Sunday and now those people will be OP compared to everyone else. Blah.

Keep all Blue and Purple gear, salvage greens as soon as you get something better. Blue and Purple can be upgraded to max ilvl regardless what ilvl they start at, so stash those in your bank until you have enough bronze to upgrade them.

I have been playing wow for almost 19 years. Right now I’m pretty much just playing remix because as far as I’m concerned, dragon is done with. Grinding just for the sake of grinding when we have already defeated the last boss is kind of dumb to me it’s like every season they give you more powerful gear and then they just move the goalpost, this is supposed to be cool
I really hope we get a hotfix for ordos and the Isle of Thunder campaign, especially, To the skies. Those 2 points nearly soured the whole thing, as well no mini mana bomb toy.
I like the frog gem x 13 hours.

I've been doing a lot of Remix dungeons on my first alt, a Holy Priest and I get so much milage from just standing with the tank and spamming Holy Nova and letting my Tinker Gems fill in the rest. My build is nonsense, but it's effective nonsense so long as ranged characters are avoiding mechanics (not a guarantee). And I'm constantly torn between Locus of Power and Thundering Orb in my Meta socket

Upgrade discount not following the same as live - ie, it's across the account not per char - is pretty poor. That might be a hotfix they consider... we hope.

do you know what’s funny M.O.P. remix seems like it would be perfect to play a monk. I have one and I have been playing it, but darn it. Something always keeps drawing me back playing my frost DK
In other news: The Tian Monastery and Sul Pearl Ensembles are completely broken and unable to be collected because apparently their "Shared Appearances" that are non-Cosmetic are already unlocked through Wandering Isle content.

I had to restart it 5 times until it just randomly worked. I also respec'd from tank to dps, and maxed out dps stats and gems in my gear. Not sure but it may be a dps race to kill enough trolls before the port happens, so it will port you to the ground as it should, instead of back to camp.

I can't beat town long steppes cause the quest( don't remember what it's called something below) but the dude won't respawn
Have to abandon quest and restart game. I had to do it a couple time before it worked. Known issue.

personally, I find brittle almost useless when solo. in the end it rarely even accounts for 3% of my damage done. at that point I might as well just use brilliance for its 5% versatility increases
4:33 Brittle was one of the gems I ended up with pretty early and I have never removed it. So good. I get people have…opinions…about Remix, but it’s such great fun and the team trying something different that pays off.
Edit: And we get a new Bob Bop?!?! Nice.
They should roll back the threads gained from frog farm… let them keep the bronze.

I have never run into more “I’m the tank I taunt now” than I have in both retail and remix this week. And no it’s not black ox meta gem.
Black Ox sucks. For tanks, Ward of Salvation, Soul Tether, Lifestorm, or Oblvion Sphere are all superior.

They need to do something about buying random gems. I dropped 10k in Bronze and got two crit gems. As a DH wanting that sweet sweet crit, I was a bit annoyed.
Trinkets and Rings do not share account wide as of the writing of this. Kinda of shitty.
So many decisions are insanely stupid imo
It's supposed to be the "fun overpowered" mode, and currently it is neither fun, and definitely not overpowered.
I don't understand what the point of blocking people so hard once at lvl 70 was.
@@urg6923 Simple, they didnt test anything, tuned everything around people 1 shotting mythic bosses on the PTR and this is what we ended up with. Insanely buggy dogshit scaling endgame where it takes the entire duration of the event to get powerful enough to down mythic bosses. Echo players farmed frogs for literally 20 hours straight and were still wiping to some mythic bosses with full max upgraded bis gear doing 7 MILLION dps single target. Numbers are fucked and blizz better fix it.

@veppy4952 frog farming was stopped, I only heard of it once it was. It means that anyone who hasn't done it is pretty much stuck or capped in a horrible grind.
Cold front is ridiculous for holy pally. Vindication is too on burst.

The main MoP Remix achieves - complete the campaign in every zone (7) + all Heroic Scenarios + all Heroic Dungeons + all Heroic Raids.

Brittle does no dmg for me idk why
The only thing i want out of this event is the Tusks of Mannoroth and at the rate things are shaping up, it will never happen. I feel like I'd be making more progress in retail by making more plate characters to bump up my 40 runs a day to 60-80 a day than I would playing remix and trying for 20 SoO clears.
They don't have to be plate chars remember, just in case you have more alts high enough to run it currently. At the end of this season any char will be able to learn any appearance in their bags regardless of if they can equip it or not, it's been confirmed.
QUEST i earned 10k+ just by doing all the jade forrest stuff yesterday
Honestly, I'm already sitting at almost 40k bronze just from completing 3 zones on the saturday, plus 5 days of dailies. I'm not even lvl 70 yet, and I've been playing very leisurely. Didn't even touch frog farming before they nerfed it.
For the bone currency, we have 90 days. I cannot believe 90 days won't be enough. Plus, I believe Tusks still drop from Garrosh in Remix at the same rate, like the other drops being sold.
I legit have almost 40k bronze and I’m 63. Do the quests and que for dungeons and raids.

NVM, he explained on his next video that it's a Heart of Fear trash farm.
Shows a solo farm of HoF, strategically doesn't mention it in case it gets the frog bat

Remix is ruined for me. Who cares about gems when there’s players walking around with millions of hp and stats thanks to 🐸
Frogs was hotfixed before I learned of it. Now a few players are walking like gids and the rest of us will be stuck in an endless grind. Not cool.
Just get into raids with one or two frog farmers and you're gtg.

I played WoW from 2018 up until 10.0 I absolutely hated it, the reputations, the open world, I hate having to wait for stuff. Remix is the only reason I came back and I'm having a blast
< has 3 almost 4 70's already, hunter's at 67. I've done every zone besides Townlong and Vale. Got the heroic dungeon achieves on 2, Can't live through the first couple minutes of a heroic scenario, so i ain't done shit on those, that shit needs fixed.. the scaling is dumb...
MoP:Remix is a total dissapointment in my eyes, the PTR had everything right, it made you op, and they even say that it should make you feel op, but this washed up scaleing and even with a super juiced cloak and 400 ilvl+ gear you feel like slapping the enemy with a wet noodle
pandaria remix:
feel like hitting everything with a slightly damp paper towel for 3 minutes at a time only interrupted by a brief smile after the use of thundering orb followed by 3 more minutes of slightly damp paper towel fighting
and
taking 2 minutes to decide "do i want to spent 45k bronze on upgrading a SINGLE piece of equipment or do i buy 14 mounts...?"
Sorry you assume on people having a frame of reference for the original MOP and it just wasn't good enough
honestly the god damn farms being nerfed after a couple of hours is just stupid, instead of nerfing the farms, buff the other shit, and why did blizzard not learn that putting player power and cosmetics against each other on the same system is a BAD idea? if upgrading a single piece of gear costs tens of thousands of bronze... but you also cant easily get that quantity of bronze... something isnt right
my suggestion would be to not tie in gear upgrades to the bronze currency and instead you upgrade gear at the same npc for upgrade token:
every lfr raid boss drops 1 upgrade token that upgrades a single piece of gear by one upgrade level
every normal raid boss drops a token that upgrades by 2 levels
heroic raid - 3 levels
mythic - 3 levels plus garrosh drops one that upgrades 5 levels
first daily normal dungeon drops a 3 lvl upgrade token and every normal dungeon thereafter a 1 lvl token
first daily heroic dungeon - 5 level token and thereafter a 2 level token
you can even put a cap of 10-20 such levels as a whole per character on it, that way people with higher content clearance will level up faster but not more
alternatively:
have the loot droped scale with your overall item level, if your overall item level is 227 then 230 drops, if its 230 then 240 drops etc and you might ask "but then whats the point of doing higher raid content if i get the same amount of gear from normal and heroic?", good question, for that i too have 2 solutions:
either increase the bronze amount per dificulty
or make the bosses drop MORE loot per dificulty per player so on mythic you might get 5 pieces of gear per boss, that way your overall item level increases faster in mythic compared to heroic etc

It was all going so well until about level 65 and my heals became spam ointment. Typical Blizzard, kill it as it got good.
Also mana costs for heals through the roof, at least on my Mistweaver.
