@@Max-gt1zvif there were shiny Pokémon in 2016, you would of got them. They weren’t added till later in the game’s lifespan.
He also makes considerably more than any of us from UA-cam revenue and has all the free time he wants..
He can spend his time however he chooses lol

92 is insane! I only got like 65, but caught a shiny Yveltal with London background which I'm really happy about

The reason you failed those shinies is because they were both lure module spawns, which only last a few minutes

Spawns were “refreshing” fast because both of those shiny Pokémon were on lures… you can’t do the trick when they are on lures.
I remembered that I caught Shiny Pikachu about one or two years ago in October during an event of Pokémon Go!😮🎉😂
Lure spawns last no longer than two minutes, so you were doomed from the beginning.🤣

Honestly the thing with heat tolerance is that it's different for everyone and heat perception is different based on the atmosphere of where you're at. The fact that everyone at the park was searching for shade the whole event, that shows that it was "that hot"

Careful with shiny swaps on Go Fest, people.
I believe 1 of 2 things is happening. 1 The spawns stay around for a shorter time than normal, or 2. Some spawns do not get replaced but just despawn.
The latter happened to me during the Unown moment. A shiny Swirlix was found and despawned as soon as the 2 minute marker ended on that hour. Nothing came in its place. That's very rare to see happen, unless its spawn time ended exactly at the end of that Unown time window.... Idk
The two shiny swaps were off of lures. Great strategy and it works. But it can't be done with the lure

The pokemon despawnd beacuse they were a lure spawn it doesent matter if you leave it or not

When trying the shiny swapping you were trying them with Pokémon on lures, which is why the despawned so fast

During the glittering gardens event I had checked around 400 swirlixs during that event and then I finally got a shiny and I checked the IV’s and it was a shundo!! My friend and I went crazy
can't wait for global go fest, i was unfortunate to get time off work to travel up to London to experience in person go fest. in person looks so surreal :)

Lure spawns always despawn fast, also they don't change as far as I know
oh mystic, you can't swap shinies when they are lured. Pokemon that come from the lures despawn in a minute or two most of the time so it's hard and you tried to swap shinies just from lured pokemon

Shiny swapping is most viable when the spawn is not a lure or incense spawn.
I remember in 2016 when a dragonite spawned right on top of my school. There werent enough teachers in the world to stop the stampede that followed 😂

with how the jigglypuff despawned, you could just stay on catch mode and right before the unknown spawn, quickly leave it. :)
To do the shiny change you have to keep in the encounter and click out at the hour

dude the castform was on a lure so had a really short timer, that was a silly mistake, regular spawn would've been fine to use (just got unlucky with jiggly)
