    Thanks for shedding light on this. I don't particularly appreciate when people jump to conclusions without thinking. EHG is doing a great job with factions without changing the game too much or making it too easy.

    Went CoF for 1.0 but didn’t get very far due to external factors. Might adventure into MG this time, hopefully the economy is a bit better this cycle.

    Yoo, I haven't been following anything that's related to Last Epoch lately, did they say anything about adding a battle pass to their game?

      That was asked recently, EHG seems pretty firmly against a paid D4 style battle pass but is open to a PoE style challenge completion free mtx thing in the future

      I wouldn't mind a paid battle pass tbh, $10€ is like nothing to support the game and get rewards for it by every 3-4 months. Although it's also a relief to have an amazing ARPG on the market, which don't try to squeeze our nuts khmmm I meant to say our wallets dry. It would be still nice to have more cosmetics, and one more thing to do and look after in the game.

I agree that LE should have more (non pay to win of course) mtx options, and ways to support the devs, but I do know that the LE playerbase is quite hostile to the idea of battle pass specifically - here is a recent reddit post on it: www.reddit.com/r/LastEpoch/comments/1dq2odh/any_update_on_a_battle_pass_or_way_to_earn/
      If you do want to support LE there will be new supporter packs coming soon and good chance they continue to add more in the future.

      @@FrozenSentinel I just read the comments under the reddit post, and the first thing I noticed people want extra things in the game like season challenges to earn cosmetics for FREE, while that's nice and all and should be a thing in the future, but still that won't help with the game's future development, on the other hand money does, I know it's not a F2P game, so they are getting their money and cosmetics + supporter packs are a thing.
      There was another comment about the battle pass in Deep Rock Galactic (which is a game, that I love to play with to this day), and honestly a battle pass similar to the one in DRG would be amazing to have in Last Epoch.
      Wait a moment, on a second thought I would much more prefer a battle pass like the one we have in DRG, holy sh*t that would be amazing, and you could buy the cosmetics with in-game currency after the battle pass is over, so even if you couldn't finish it or didn't play in that season you would still be able to get them.
      A free battle pass for everyone, and supporter packs for ppl like me who wants to support the devs even more is a way to go imo.

      Yeah I want to support the game but the "supporter pack" style of monetization doesn't appeal to me, it all feels like overpriced skins that don't really add engagement to my time with the game. As much as battle passes are hated, I find them a lot more fun to engage with when they are priced correctly.

    600hrs playtime and i have 0 red rings as CoF player, and i never seen LP3 or LP4 item. My expectations are low for this patch tbh

      Number of hours matters a lot less than what you do with those hours, in cycle 1 pushing corruption and farming favor efficiently was the name of the game for CoF which required a strong build.
      This cycle I farmed 30+ Red Rings within a couple days by dumping millions of favor into unique ring prophecies, next cycle I feel like that won't be possible but we will see.

      @@FrozenSentinel ~1200 Corruption + tons of favor into unique ring prophecies, i'm not lucky i guess... used Runemaster frostbite frostclaw (999 stacks + ~6.5k dmg per 1 frostbite) Thx for answer btw, love yours videos man. maybe op shaman in 1.1? looks promising, or meteor spammer? :D

      It's dead Jim. Joking aside I think ward got off fairly easily all considered. I was expecting much bigger nerfs

      Yes half of the metabuilds shouldn't be borderline invincible. Stop complaining about completely reasonable changes.

      i heard, Ward will fall of arround 4k. We need to test out if its bad or its manageble. lets wait and see

    Rank 12 is pretty shit to be honest, its alot better to drop red rings once, than have to try and do it twice. same with 3lp or 4lp items
    Edit: hope they fix lootfilters to filter for lp

      I'm not sure what you mean, mathematically the new Rank 12 is strictly superior, it may feel worse because the "wins" are smaller (though more frequent) but the overall outcome will be the same over a large sample, and more consistent over smaller samples.
      I do hope to see more lootfilters improvements in the future as well, but the LP thing is a huge win!

      @@CaptainNoobzor yea I agree - we generally experience and remember negative outcomes more strongly than positive ones, so the thought of not getting a duplicate feels like a huge punishment while getting your desired outcome twice as often feels like a much less significant compromise.

      ​@@FrozenSentinel not to mention that our brain can be very binary at times, i think often times we don't think about how often does an item drop, but rather did i get an item drop today yes or no, and in the case of a duplicate, if the answer is yes, then the reward is twice as much, but in the case of having twice as many drops (and no duplicates) we might not even be tracking/paying attention to how often the item actually drops.
      (edit:) also i found this topic to be particularly interesting given that i don't recall having seen something like this before, where something is objectively buffed, but perceived as a nerf purely based on human psychology!

      @@CaptainNoobzor yeah really interesting. I see a lot of parallels to behavioral finance where people tend to rationalize themselves into detrimental financial decisions, something I enjoy reading about.
