I have followed the directions to the T, and my phone does not charge. 3 lights are shining indicating the charge card is fully powered, but my phone is losing the charge, not gaining. I have been trying for an hour.
It's a normal lithium ion battery. It will discharge over time. You'll need to charge it occasionally to keep it active. If you're carrying it around like an emergency charge should be, you can just pull it out occasionally and charge it.
OMG! I am 6 minutes into this video~and they have shown NOTHING on how to charge the charge card. Then use it to charge your phone. I know this guy loved Xmas, I know he thinks this is so small. I know is a good gift for mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, aunts & uncles. I know THAT EACH USB is labeled for different phones (iPhone vs Android) But I know absolutely NOTHING about how to use it~This video is absolutely ridiculous~What is the purpose of it? You don't even give a very good description of what the ChargeCard is for~Ridiculous!
You plug it into a microUSB cable connected to a power source, like a computer or wall charger or car charger to charge it. To charge a device with it, you connect the microUSB portion of one of the double ended little charging cables that connect to the device to the same port that you used to charge it, and then the other end connects to your device.
Thank you so much. I was having trouble with this.

It's 2300 mAh, if you have a modern high end smartphone, you're looking at under half a charge.
Will it keep a charge when not in use? My other chargers die when sitting in a drawer.
