They are by far one of my favorite live acts. Belle and Sebastian concerts are just incredibly pleasant. The band is always in good form, they are very engaging and they play many different songs. They are totally worth the $50...they are an incredible value.

I dunno why today felt like a Belle & Sebastian day but I'm glad I found this! Last time I saw them live was 10 years ago! and in 2007, they'd already had a prolific career, I'm amazed that they're still making great music and will always have a place in my heart for them!
Those two dancing to Jonathan David sure know how to boogie! If everyone danced this joyfully, the world would see peace!

they are so pleasant/wonderful/spectacular live. at least in my experience, and i've seen them a few times. if you've got the chance to see them, don't be afraid to dance! it's rewarding!

I've been one of their fans for a long time :-) say 22/23 years ??.....Loved them from the moment I first heard them, and I still listen (and watch their concerts thanks to the cool dudes who upload, thanks BTW :-) ) A LOT!!!! I know loads of people who don't like them :-( , they don't appreciate their music at all.....Ah well - It's their loss......But how can that be????? Don't understand.....They are class and that's it(in my opinion)!!!! Would love to see them live too......

Such a great band. And that was a good audience too. As much as you can get with twee pleasant music like belle and Sebastian. Absolutely fucking amazing. The fact that this was just another concert and yet you could have told me it was the studio recording. Not that the concert was just the same obviously. I loved seeing Stuart’s personality here but seriously you always wonder how songs like we are the sleepyheads would be live and I didn’t expect it to be that great. And the encore too. Such a great live performance. I wanna go to something as special as this one day.

After listening to a number of their live shows, this one is either their best, or one of their best.
No, you're not mistaken. I've been a big B&S fan for years and have collected many bootlegs of theirs, and this show is special. Actually, many shows during their Life Pursuit tour had the band at their finest! This show being one of those examples.

They have the "Fans Only" DVD, you can find it in Amazon, and the "BBC Sessions" DVD where they recorded 5 or 6 songs. Hope you found them! :)

Well, I like much more Le pastie de la Burguesie with the sensual, beautiful voice of Alex Kapranos front man Franz Ferdinand making cover this song! I'm sure that Franz Ferdinand is a Great, fantastic Band and much better miles away after wathcing this sad, weak, insomniac performance of Belle & Sebastian! I'm disappointed with Belle&Sebastian about live shows, concerts!

musically - its not complex but who cares. its catchy, its poppy, but not formula in any way.
low on creativity, but extremely high in execution
ck675 Musically it's not super creative, but lyrically I think it is incredibly so.
I'll concede that none of them are musical virtuosos, but they function so tightly as a unit and become more than the sum of their parts. And I feel that their lyrics and melodies will far outlive them.
