Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Best Thing To Do near Anchorage (Full Tour)

Looking for fun activities near Anchorage? Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation.
There are a number of things to do in Alaska but none are as relaxing as walking around Alaska Wildlife Conservation (1 hour away from downtown Anchorage). Seeing Black and Brown Bears in their semi-natural habitat with backdrops of snow-covered mountains is a beautiful experience.
The whole family enjoyed the trip and spent hours just walking around and seeing the bears play with each other, moose eat snow, and Coyote pace back and forth.

Ooooo the bear shots! So close! Did you have to zoom in a lot? Or were they actually relatively close? Going to Alaska for the first time next week and looking forward to seeing these animals up close!

The Bears were roughly 10 feet away. We waited around 30 mins for them to come close to us. The closest we got was 6 feet away with an electric fence in between. We would highly recommend visit to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, drive along Seward Highway (Anchorage to Girdwood to visit Aleyska Resort, drive through longest Single lane tunnel to Whittier and drive to Seward). Enjoy your trip! Alaska is a beautiful state!!!
