Hello. As always the Catherine way beautiful presentation my mouth is watering again super thumbs up. I for sure going to try it.I love ham I eat in practical everything. V.good. 💗💖❤🤩😍👌👌👍👍👍👍
Giving your recipe a try this Christmas. Also, here is a tip. If you place that Orange half cut side down in the lemon squeezer it will yield you a lot more juice. So happy I found your channel. Thank you.
This looks and sounds delicious! However, my family would not be happy if I didn't make gravy with the drippings. I tried it one year and it was just not the same. Thanks so much, Catherine, for sharing soo much of your family and yourself with us! God bless you all.
Looks delish as usual Catherine! We do the brown sugar mustard pineapple and stick whole cloves in. Went grocery shopping myself this morning and forgot to watch! Better late than never. Have a Blessed evening!
Got me on this one Kat... I've never seen this technique done and I ha e to admit I've never been taught how to cook a ham propper... I will be using your recipe this Holliday. Thank you for sharing your recipe . 😋👌
Momma always used vernors and brown sugar. Orange never would have thought of that Thank you Catherine for another fabulous recipe. Have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. 🙏❤🙏❤
Catherine place your orange half upside down to juice it, if you look you will see holes in the bottom for the juice to come out. The ham looks great! I usually use brown sugar and mustard with the pineapple rings but I want to try it with the oranges!
Last year I volunteered to bring a Honey Baked Ham to my neighbors Christmas dinner for 12 people ( I’m a senior without family). When I went to pick up my ham ……. It was 85.00. I almost fainted. I will use your recipe this year.
Honeybaked is outrageous. You can create the crackled effect by creating a really sticky glaze with brown sugar & honey, coat the ham and then use an acetylene torch to char the outside much like a roasted marshmallow gets that charred effect from direct flame.
HEB ham. The Best! Hahaha! I'm partial since My HEB is 1 mile from here and I worked at several of their stores. Your recipe sounds amazing! Will make it Christmas 🎄 Thanks for sharing
This really looks good! ❣️ Ham is my preference for Thanksgiving and Christmas! And with me being the baby of the family, I've never had to cook holiday meats. 😉 And not only do I love ham, I also love all the things you can do with ham after the holiday meal. 🤗 Thanks for sharing another great recipe! 🥰
I usually do our ham every year with brown sugar and pineapple slices, but am very tempted to try your recipe because that orange juice glaze looks amazing! Great vid, hope your holidays are filled with joy and merriment 🦃🍁
Thanks for all the Thanksgiving and holiday recipes! Can't wait to make them. I made your taco soup last night for dinner. Delicious. Happy holidays to you and your family. I really enjoy your cookbooks. Love from Indiana 👍😊
This rather makes me wish I had bought a spiral sliced ham but I wanted to make bean soup and pea soup with my meat. Somehow I just can't picture either soup with citrus sauced meat. Sure does look beautiful, though. Great idea!
I use pineapple, apples, and multiple spices like ginger & clove in my marinade/glaze for spiral ham. I use the leftovers and the bone for bean soups & the like, and I’ve never found the flavors to be off-putting for a savory bean soup or pea soup.
You will never believe the glaze imaging on my ham this year! Thank you.looks amazing!! Have you ever tried ham from The Honey Baked Ham Co? Many blessings to you and your family🙏❤❤
Aloha Miss Catherine..I've never baked a ham before so this was very eye opening for me. Can you tell me how to you remove the slices of meat from the bone to serve? At all the holiday dinners where ham was served it was laid out in pieces ready to take.
I'm definitely making this for Christmas dinner, but I think I may skip the first step as we like our ham less curled and lukewarm. Edit: I can't find this in your recipe blog online... 😔
Sounds great. Unfortunately, my family looks forward to split pea soup with the leftover ham bone and a glaze makes the soup taste odd. If I can get ham hocks, I'll make the soup with that instead so I can glaze our ham!
I have to permanently give up Ham Dinners due to the sodium content. I also prefer the ham on the bone and use the leftovers for soup. Most of the hams that I am seeing in the markets are over 1,000 miligrams of sodium and that is not including the glaze. High Blood pressure is no joking matter, silent killer. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Everyone loved the dinner and raved about the ham.
Wonderful! I'm glad y'all liked it.
I cant wait try this recipe on my ham.
I don't eat ham, but my family will love this! Have a blessed day!!!🥰🌺🌷🌹💯
That ham looks good Catherine! Award worthy for sure. 🥇
Thanks Catherine, wish me luck. I have followed you on past recipes and was very successful. You’re awesome!
Best of luck!

Giving your recipe a try this Christmas. Also, here is a tip. If you place that Orange half cut side down in the lemon squeezer it will yield you a lot more juice. So happy I found your channel. Thank you.

Ok….now your really killing me here with that delicious 🤤 ham…I can’t watch these videos hungry that’s for sure. Thank you for the citrus glaze idea 💡
Love it. Got to try it
Thank you. I never knew how to glaze a ham.
Wonderful! No CLOVES! I think that is the spice I don’t like in the in-package glazes. Definitely trying this one. Thank you Catherine.🙋♀️👍😍👏👍🤗💕
I love cooking my ham in the crockpot. It turns out so juicy and tender.
I also do mine in the slow cooker. I like the way it allows the marinade/glaze to really permeate the meat
@@feyfantome yes its absolutely delicious.
Yep, I'll make it this year, can't wait and I'm jealous that you have an HEB. Ours is 30 minutes away.
I'm making this for Christmas eve. Looks super delicious. I love your recipes. Glad I follow you
Looks amazing thanks for sharing another great recipe 👍💕
I'm making this right now. Already put the glaze on. Getting ready to come out of the oven. It does taste yummy.

I’m going to do I ham for Thanksgiving, and I want to change it up from my usual Coke and Brown Sugar🙃 This will be perfect!! Thank you so much♥️♥️
This looks and sounds delicious! However, my family would not be happy if I didn't make gravy with the drippings. I tried it one year and it was just not the same. Thanks so much, Catherine, for sharing soo much of your family and yourself with us! God bless you all.
You could do this ham after the holidays. Just have ham for dinner one Sunday. That's how I make all these yummy recipes.
Delicious making this today 😋😋😋😋
Looks delish as usual Catherine! We do the brown sugar mustard pineapple and stick whole cloves in. Went grocery shopping myself this morning and forgot to watch!

Hello Catherine that Ham look 🔥 🔥!!
Looks delicious trying this tomorrow but with pineapple. Happy Thanksgiving everyone ❤
Got me on this one Kat... I've never seen this technique done and I ha e to admit I've never been taught how to cook a ham propper... I will be using your recipe this Holliday. Thank you for sharing your recipe . 😋👌

I’m so doing my ham this way for Christmas!
I'm going to make this for Christmas Eve dinner. Thanks for the video!
Beautiful ham😍🥰
Thank you 😋
Looks good
Thank u
Momma always used vernors and brown sugar. Orange never would have thought of that Thank you Catherine for another fabulous recipe. Have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. 🙏❤🙏❤
Nothing on the planet like Vernors! Craving a Boston Cooler right now!!
Ok, not many know about vernors! 😊 48224!
As a native Detroiter, I can testify how good Vernor's is. A Boston Cooler sounds delish right now, even if I am cold!
Looks really delicious, and juicy! Citrus is always a wonderful choice with ham. The glaze looks amazing!👍😋🍖🍊
Thank you 😋
That looks so good
Good job, mouthwatering.👍❤️🦋
Thank you 😋

This looks amazing!! Also happy to see you're an HEB shopper!!
Yes, we love HEB.

Yes, Honey Ham is very expensive. You can feed 12 easy off my 9 pound ham for way less.
HEB ham. The Best! Hahaha! I'm partial since My HEB is 1 mile from here and I worked at several of their stores. Your recipe sounds amazing! Will make it Christmas 🎄 Thanks for sharing
Wow Catherine love it, thank you so much, will make my ham this way.
You’re welcome 😊
Looks delicious!!
That looks amazing my Mom did a recipe similar to this but it was not a sliced ham but whole with the bone in.
This really looks good! ❣️

I would add brown sugar to the orange/mustard mixture.
😋🤤not a ham eater but it looks and sounds delicious
That looks so incredible!
Looks delicious 😋 definitely gonna give this a try this year. Thanks 😊.

Yes.
Sounds delicious! Do you prefer this one or the pineapple and cherries? I always do the pineapple. Never did this one
We actually prefer this one to the pineapple version.
Delicious
Thank you 😋
The size of that ham! It's half a pig! Lol I have never seen a ready sliced joint, that is great! xx
😁 It is a big ham.
YUM!!! 😋 Catherine, when you put the 2nd glaze on and put it back in the oven, do you put the foil back on or leave it off? It looks spectacular!! 👍👍👍
Leave the foil off.
Thank you!
Hi Catherine, I save the netting off the ham for my server, it keeps the thread from tangling

Aloha Miss Catherine..I've never baked a ham before so this was very eye opening for me. Can you tell me how to you remove the slices of meat from the bone to serve? At all the holiday dinners where ham was served it was laid out in pieces ready to take.
If you have a spiral cut ham most of the work is done for you. You can just cut the little bit that is still attached.
I'm definitely making this for Christmas dinner, but I think I may skip the first step as we like our ham less curled and lukewarm.
Edit: I can't find this in your recipe blog online... 😔
I haven't had time to blog it yet.
Making this for Thanksgiving I know where you got that Ham at H.E.B ON IN TEXAS ⚓🦋🇺🇲🍑✌💐
Try diet orange soda to reduce all the calories from oranges yet retain the flavor.
Hi Catherine, I can't find this ham recipe on your blog?
It will be there as soon as possible.
SHE SO NICE
Thanks.
Sounds great. Unfortunately, my family looks forward to split pea soup with the leftover ham bone and a glaze makes the soup taste odd. If I can get ham hocks, I'll make the soup with that instead so I can glaze our ham!
💖👼🏻🌺
What temperature do you bake the ham at?
Set oven to 425

Awesome 👍 job on the ham miss Catherine I'd eat a big ol plate of that with some taters and I'm good to go 😁
Can ya do it in crock pot that way too
You sure can.
isn't 425F too high?
It came out perfect for us.
I wanna make this so much, but my husband won’t eat ham! 🙄😩😩 so disappointing..
OH No! Well you just come on over and we will give you some of ours.
I've used that same glaze for years on my hams. And your husband is correct on the bone in. Never buy a boneless ham. No flavor.
