Being respectful and polite to obese people and ignoring the negative health effects of being overweight are two different things
as an obese person let me tell you, being polite and respectful to us does not help anyone. Degrade us, tell us we are fat pigs, otherwise we wont change.
@@vanidar21 what the fuck
@@vanidar21 no do not say that
@@vanidar21 That's bad advice, don't listen to this dude.
@@vanidar21 Lmao uh that is BAD advice. There's zero reason to be rude to someone because they've made poor dietary choices. Their decision to change their lifestyle has to come from within, not from someone being a jackass.
As someone who has lost over 130lbs, gotten into shape, being fat sucks, all this body positivity, fat acceptence shit, its one big coping mechanism.
I wish i could get here... every morning i wake up with the mindset of (Today i will walk 2 miles or 10k steps or 1k steps more than yesterday)... by the time i am done finishing up my business on the thinking throne i lost all motivation because i let my negative thoughts overwhelm my positive outlook for my own future due to nobody giving a damn about people like me... people seem to only care about you when you are of value to your society and i am currently not peak value but i try to my best but mental illness is a different beast... wish everyone lived by the bible where it states to emphasizes the importance of loving and caring for one's neighbors and putting their needs before your own. I do initiate as many pay it forward acts by helping homeless people as much as i can and giving money to needy people in third world countries but i yet have to see it come around for me to change me for the better.
@@MrRaja Dude, all i can say is, put yourself first, you deserve it,there is an age old saying, dont set yourself on fire, to keep others warm, put yourself first as a priority, homeless acts can wait, you obviously want to, but to me it sounds like you are puttiong evryones needs before you, and sending 100 bucks to some nowhere, doesnt change anything, only thing it does, is making it harder for you to live a healthy lifestyle, and, another thing, losing wait doesnt mean you have to work out, or anything, its just rethinking what to eat, abs are made in the kitchen
@@MrRaja This might sound rude to some people, but you have to be selfish and put yourself first, like the comment above said. Since we only have one life and it's short, we should live our lives to the fullest, and in order to do so, you have to think about yourself and your well-being. Once you feel happy about yourself, you should focus on others. As a person who has previously fought with obesity, all I can say is to take your time, don't be harsh on yourself if you don't see the results immediately, and focus on your own goals instead of worrying what others think, even if it might be hard at the beginning. You got this!
@@MrRaja Don't worry about walking a specific distance when your in that place of mind, just worry about doing SOMETHING. I've lost 70 pounds and am taking a break from weight loss for a little while, however, I still exercise a tiny amount. It's not like doing what I'm doing is getting me any weight lost, but it's keeping your heart healthy, which is the overall thing that matters. Society does only really care about you if you have value, however, the only one who can bring value to you is yourself. Struggling to get something done is better than not trying at all, seriously don't give up, just try and change what and however much you are eating. Let us know if you have any questions about it and I'm sure plenty of people would be more than willing to give you advice and answer questions.
@@MrRaja have you tried going carnivore? It helped me beyond belief... Yes it goes into every guideline of 'what you should be eating' But my transformation is insane! There is alot of information to be found here on youtube. Try it for 6 weeks and you will see that your mood, energy and motivation all will go up tremendously and you will lose alot of weight on top of that.
There are alot of videos on how you should start this "diet" ... I suggest you look into that and dont go all in from day 1 like i did. It is a very restrictive diet... yes but im never going back! Try it for 6 weeks... If your "why" is strong enough its easy to maintain.
As a fat person trying to lose weight, Morgan is completely right. I have been miserable for the majority of my life, and to have people starting to say it's healthy to be fat is infuriating. We NEED to stop telling people what they want to hear and start telling them what they need to hear. I've lost 56 pounds so far and the difference is absolutely staggering; I'm STILL obese, but my quality of life improves every day. I'm sad people are being influenced to be dangerously unhealthy.
i do have to admit, the more active i am and the more fit i am, i do notice that i have a ton more pride body positivity courage and a far higher self esteem about myself.
I gained a lot of weight around 2022 because of poor eating habits and my face is starting to get chubby and I'm disgusted with myself.
If I don't change something bad will happen to me especially since im in my 30s I can't even do a short jog anymore.I dont want people telling me everything is okay I know im healthy.
If I continue to go at the current rate I am in life and don't make any changes to my diet and exercise more I'm going to have a heart attack.
@Ghost-ul8eu you can do it! I had gained weight 15-18kgs. That was depressing in itself, however I did not think much about it. During covid, I gained another 12 kgs. That's when it hit me, that I can't keep on going like this. I joined a workout program and lost the extra 12 kgs within 4-6 months. However, my habits and diet hadn't changed. I still ate US size large pizza on weekends. I couldn't lose those extra 20 kgs.
Fast forward 1 year- I go home visit my family and do a blood test (after 5 years). I had fatty liver stage 2, multiple vitamin deficiencies, bad cholesterol, and started getting hair fall. Doc said I'm also moving towards diabetes.
I'm 27, and have been an sports athlete my whole life!
That gave me a jolt. I started a strict diet and started walking after every meal. Nothing else! 2 weeks later most of my symptoms were reduced by a third, including fatty liver which dropped to stage 1. That gave me a boost and kept the same diet and walking schedule for next 2 -3 months
I'm now down by 15 kgs with only 5-6 kgs more than what I used to be when I played. Have become mostly healthy again.
Moral: don't wait until you are diagnosed. Just be conscious of what you eat and do some form of physical activity.
Fuck yeah I was 200 lbs ever since I turned my life around I am at 180 trying to get to 160 I feel a lot better mentally and physically
Well done, keep it up. As long as you are proactive about your weight that is a good thing, you must be committed to it, not just a little bit, but you must be in it for the long haul, as it is a long haul. I would consider surgery also if you are eligible and it is affordable for you. Bariatric surgery is well proven to be worth it, there is a tonne of information out there about it, this is no longer experimental surgery, it is very popular surgery all over the western world especially. Check it out with your local Dr, if not already.
The guy above may well be able to handle all that extra weight at his age, when he is relatively young. Its when he gets older, and if he is still at that weight or heavier he is really going to struggle. All those metabolic factors will come into play, he'll be pre-diabetic, he'll have problems with lymphedema in his extrmeties, joint problems, especially in his back, fatty liver is a big one, he'll already have signs of that. This can all be reversed by losing a lot of weight, and having all these factors monitored by a Doctor, dietician and maybe a psychologist, or a nurse who specializes in obesity care.
He may feel reasonably well at his age, but guaran-fucking-teed, he will feel 1000 times better without that extra weight.
Fat acceptance is probably one of the most damaging movements in our generation.

I am a thick boy, and in my opinion this whole "fat acceptance" thing has gone off the rails.
I don't believe that actively bullying fat people is a great way to make fat people change their lifestyle, but this idea of just excusing their own self destruction using progressivism is even worse. Obese people should be encouraged to lose weight. Not being able to climb stairs without almost having a heart attack and sweating all the time is not a life to aspire to.

I fully disagree with that. I’m nowhere near the level of this man but I’m fat. Unhealthily fat. I know that but my family downplay it, I never payed mind to it.
I have always excepted that it’s unhealthy and that I should change it but I’m not. Because of laziness but I am happy.
This is insane. I'm overweight and I try to make healthier decisions. It's hard and I fall short but to me body positivity is about meeting yourself where you are. Not beating yourself up for not being where you like to be. To be supportive of people trying to better themselves without looking negatively on the person, but instead the habit. Smoking killed my bf's mom and I never thought less of her for her addiction. But do I wish she had been able to quit.

The whole coming from a poor background/being poor thing is more complex than "you know you should eat vegetables." Some people that come from especially poor backgrounds end up hoarding food as an adult, which can turn into overeating and such. Top that off with cheap food generally being unhealthy especially these days. These people need help, and saying "you should know better" isn't the help that they need.

The issue we are facing is that we have expanded our communities to essentially be one global one. This means that like minded people can flock into large sub-communities where behaviour gets enabled. The more people you have backing you up, the more likely you are to disregard advice and instead see the advisor as an adversary to be combatted. There is safety in numbers in that way. I did a small course paper on how fast food delivery services can impact health, and it's basically too early to tell for sure, but the early studies i have found have been saying that it's helpful to the economy, but worse for people's health as it provides the convenience of being able to now get food delivered that normally wouldn't be delivered at all. The thing with people in lower income areas getting hit harder is also true, as when you live in a lower income area, it tends to be the case that a grocer that sells a good quantity of healthy foods will be further away, limiting you on options in terms of healthy foods if you don't have an easy way to get to the healthier stores. That also kind of compounds on itself because in those areas, fast food restaurants will tend to be set up because they stand to gain more money from people who see it as a cheap, good meal, where more well off people will tend to kind of avoid fast food a little bit more often due to the health risks or calories associated with it when they can already make a better tasting and healthier meal at home. This isn't meant to excuse unhealthy eating habits, but I just bring it up because there is some legitimacy to some of the things that can go into someone developing these unhealthy habits from younger ages that aren't NECESSARILY entirely on them.
One thing that always rings true is that moderation is key
Kinda funny that replacing that orange juice with coca cola is probably healthier..

Its funny people say eating healthy is so expensive but when i eat healthy i save money like u can make a big ass healthy meal for like $5-$6
For real, you can buy a whole ass bushel of oranges for less than the cost of a family-pack of brand name cookies. It's not expensive to eat healthy, people just don't want to eat healthy food, so it makes it harder to ignore the cost in the same way as when you buy something you crave.
Fun fact, most fruit juices have more sugar and calories than a coke. So you could technically wash a daily vitamin down with a coke and it'd be healthier than most orange juice.

I think his point was that he's literally an influencer and he may not be saying straight up you should be like me, but most tik tok users are young and when they see him making money for being overweight, some of them are like, hey I can do that too.
Never thought I'd see a Pandaren guest on the Piers Morgan show
One problem that people seem to rarely address is the sheer amount of food waste that morbidly obese people cause.
The amount of resources and landscape that could be spared if we didn't have to produce as much food due to people either overeating or tossing food is ridiculous.
These are the people keeping my insurance premium so f'n high.
lol , true
using this argument to control others leads to authoritarian extremism. You force people into a system then because theyre in a system you gain the roght to control everything they do
fat dudes comfortable in hi own body, skinny woman telling him to change is pumping her lips full cause she is not happy with her appearence, crazy world we live in.
Both stem from mental illness. But there is a difference between getting lip fillers and weighing 400 pounds.
She is trans. She work on changing her appearance to be who she wants to be, meanwhile the guy just doesnt care.
>she
Tbh I think who goes for lip filler seriously lacks brain cells, since 99% of them look like they belong in an aquarium. But that's pretty disengenuous, u know the mortality rates are not even comparable.
He says he is happy , people like to advertise themselves as happy. I was fat and used to pretend i didnt care , its fucking depressing.
"It's only a 7 minute video, it should be quick" - Asmongold prior to making a 7 minute video 28 minutes
You appear on my tiktok feed a lot, which I'm happy about, so much so that I've recently subscribed to you on here. These idiots appear on my tiktok feed too, which caused me to block them. I'm so happy that you made this video and that I've just found it. Brilliant reaction!
With Asmon's webcam in the way I thought the headline was "US sized Actor"
Asmon talking on how long he has been on the internet and what he has seen and I just sit here nodding like an NPC because its the most relatable shit I have ever heard.
My brother has had some medical issues pop up over the past 5 years, for multiple reasons (medication, diet, and temporarily not being to be as active as he was) and bc of it, he's gained a lot of weight. He's about 5'08" and weighs 260 lbs, def much larger than he use to be. None of us bully him by any means, but now that he is able to be more active, we definitely encourage him to exercise more and change his diet, simply bc we are worried about diabetes, his heart, and further complicating his other issues.
He goes through spurts of trying, especially when we come down on him a little harder, but falls off the wagon. I mean, it is what it is, he's an adult, and we do our best when it comes to encouragement and reminding him of the dangers (which he knows, so its wasted breath) but as the old adage goes "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." The "want to" has to come from him, bc if it doesn't, whatever flame we do ignite in him is going to be short lived anyways. I just hope he doesn't wait too late and cause irreversible damage before he does decide to do something about it.
After checking the tape about 10 times and seeing his wife... I've decided to install IG and start gaining lol. Also... it's always tied to economics., always. It's not a "would you" question, it's a "would you rather"... gotta get that money somehow.
One more reason to ban TikTok
Watching this had made me realize how much I need to get in shape.
Good video Asmon. I don't usually comment but I appreciate your takes on this one. Have a good one o7
Damn Asmongold literally had the same childhood experiences that I had. I was exposed to stuff on the internet that some people couldn’t even fathom. Stuff I never repeated to anybody. Stuff people would judge you for without understanding how free/open the internet was at that time.
Growing up poor I can relate. It’s not about knowing what’s good for you or not. My mom was always working and we had what was cheap and convenient. Mostly microwave food.
Funny thing is, microwave food has virtually no leftovers. Can eat a meatloaf for two days, and have some for lunch. I grew up poor too.
@@markwashington5128 yeah but my mom never was home to cook. We pretty much fended for ourselves
Grow up in extreme poverty my entire life. I weigh 130lbs. (I'm a woman for some clarification, not a goblin like Asmon)
There is no excuse. You can still watch what you eat. Meal prep, plan accordingly. Eat what you need to and save what you need to.
I love this arc of Asmon, he is not afraid of addressing his true opinions due to ban risk, he knows he has the Kick sponsorship behind.
Nothing changed. He has mentioned this exact topic of fat feederism a few times already 😅
You guys really didnt pick up on him restraining himself less now? Well why am i surprised people thought his take on the mitch jones bag situation was real
Asmon has talked about this plenty of times. He doesn't give a shit about Twitch or Kick or any other streaming platform, because he makes his money on UA-cam.
This weeb just started watching asmongold yesterday.
Guys I have been watching Asmon since draenor came out… He speaks even more freely now. I know he was never afraid of telling his thoughts, but never was this upfront. I mean that is what I see.
i remember the wild west internet, you learn a lot at a young age especially when unsupervised
Some of my marines I mentored loved fat women so much, they would go out on Friday/Saturday nights and go “hogging” as they called it. It was pretty much a contest as to who landed the fatest women. True story 😂
I’ve been going through a tough time lately and your videos have helped me a ton to just keep my mind off things. Thank you Asmon. You have no idea how much you’re helping me.
Uncle, whatever you’re going through won’t last long, so keep being strong and time will solve everything, just try being happy with the small things as much as you can, you’re doing amazing ❤
Keep your head up King. You got this ❤
❤
pull through brother, you're never alone
same, im researching a good diet now, where i live, any healthy food is extremely expensive..
She was actually a fitness instructor from Australian, she saw him on UK TV , contacted him and flew to the UK to meet him in 2018 to meet him and married him in 2019.
Thank you for the insight. Interesting, guess they found each other
Before or after he was making £10k a month?
and BAM she is never without work again. that's quite the foresight
They could’ve had someone not covered in 7 lbs of makeup and filled with botox come in and get their point across better
my god, watching pain Olympics in 8th grade in my buddies basement was the most traumatizing event lmao.
A custodian of degeneracy
Ah a servant of the emperor i see. And a protector aswell
In my op, theres 3 aspects of dealing with a fat person that need to be normal.
1) poke fun of their fat but dont bully constantly (helps with starting considering weightloss)
2) treat them normally as best as you can but dont bow to them and don't let them be the common butt of the joke (some people comfort eat to that weight, great for mental health if the mental triggers arent always present)
3) if you want to really help them, be the person who invites them to physical activities such as going gym, walking, football, etc. (encouragement from people you are close with can help overcome alot of the mental blocks for a fat person to want to workout)
These 3 things will be the most effective general advice you can give to deal with fat people
Sincerely,
- A former morbidly obese dude who fought against childhood obesity
Not going to lie this is all cool until it takes a toll on your mental health staying on top of this weird balance beam of mental gymnastics to pander to someone who doesn’t care about their own weight enough to simply eat less
@josh_ets is true, but it's general advice for if you want to help someone, and if you want to help someone, then that relationship has to be somewhat strong
Another thing is that even if you are doing this for a week and stop, it will plant seeds of wanting to lose weight later
even without the health concerns, it is a tremendous waste of food
you could literally feed like 5 people on one of their diets
Dude was out of breath before he even said hello LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
todays internet is tame
We out here
People never letting other people finish and constantly interrupting them makes me so god damn mad.
1:10 LOL Orange juice from a cardboard box is healthy had me laughing my ass off
I'm a little put off before I start watching... but like you here goes!
It's amazing how asmon can turn a "only 7 minute video" into a 27 minute video. This modern is a modern alchemist
👀👀👀
Now i have seen pain olimpics, and i no longer wish i had.
I have a issue with Blair too. All that plastic surgery is also a problem.
When I think of feederism I think of Boogie2988. His wife left him when he tried to better his life, which has obviously messed with his head cause he’s a mess now.
