I am also a builder of Galleon Ships but mine are hand carved out of wood and do not use popsicle sticks. I must say that your Ship is of the most beautifully crafted model and very impressive!

@@ianjuarez6974 I don't know, but there r blue prints of HMS victory ship in google, download them and take printout in larger size like A2size... Then paste them on some thin plywood or cardboard sheet and trim them out using knife... Try to use match stick and other small wood pieces for decorations. All the best.

GREAT BUILD , BUT SOME BODY SHOULD HIDE THE PAINT . IT'S OVER KILL , SOMETIMES TO MUCH OF ONE THING NO MATTER WHAT IT IS CAN REALLY SCREW THING'S UP , LIKE A PAINT JOB ALL ONE COLOUR . I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SAW IT A LITTLE MORE RUSTIC LOOKING , LIKE WORN BY TIME AND WEATHER , I'M SURE SOME ONE ON THE TUBE THAT COULD GIVE HIM SOME POINTER'S ABOUT PAINTING ,IM NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE OR MEAN. HES ALREADY A GREAT BUILDER ,WHY NOT BE A GREAT PAINTER THEN HE WILL HAVE MASTERED BOTH .

Это не модель, скорее сувенир - подобные продают на базарах для туристов. Отсюда и "технологии" и материалы соответствующие
@@Oleg7777758 я бы не сказал, что это сувенир. слишком детально, а главное сделан правдоподобно (без парусов в 4 ряда на мачте). Забейте в гугл "сувенирные кораблики". увидите огромную разницу. Тут слишком много деталей, для сувенира. а что касается материалов: моделисты часто используют в своей работе деревянные палочки от мороженного, для размешивания кофе, линейки из дерева. Доступные и дешёвые материалы, да ещё и все уже одного размера подогнаны. Про смачивания палочек в воде тоже технология известная. которые ещё и легко обрабатывать в домашних условиях. Сам подобным занимаюсь, только пока ещё не особо специалист, так..... больше любитель
@@kristoferrozen1780 у Вас своеобразные понятия о сувенирах. Это не модель, - т.к модель делается по чертежам и копирует определенный образец. Тут все обобщенное, от фонаря. Собирательный образ парусника. Не игрушка - слишком ломкая, тяжелая. Значит сувенир - изделие напоминающее что либо, красивое и ценное))

Nice! And to think how spoiled Ive been building ship models with laser cut frames and all the fittings!.But Crazy Glue?? I only ever used carpenter wood glue held by nails, and only 1 long strip from bow to stern! I wonder how super glue will hold over many years? I would be nervous using it!. You have some impressive skills, and a beautiful job done!
Superglue will outlast most glues, PROVIDED that the pieces are cut accurately. This kind of work is for selling to tourists, it's not meant to be fine craftsmanship, and if it lasts until they leave the country, it's good enough. Your method of using single length planking is far superior, or at LEAST landing the ends of the planks on the frames for stability. One drop and that boat will virtually explode into fragments. But it's never meant to be an heirloom, it's just a craft work, not meant to be accurate or finely made.
@@markdoldon8852 Hi Mark, I didnt realize that these were quick made, i have only ever built ships over a long period, buy I see what you mean! Thanks for letting me know! I used crazy glue to fast hold rigging, esp when I wrap around the blocks and other tie offs for rope. But you really made a great boat quick!

an excellent scratch built boat... but I don't understand the red varnish.
You can make things easier on your next build by using a jeweler's saw instead of a hack saw (jeweler's saw frame and blades usually are sold separately)
