Interesting what the host said regarding the PCAF. Their teachings or doctrine. It is amazing how many people are connected one way of the other on this journey through the church. My family was from the Apostolic Ministries as well. Bishop Samuel Hancock. My understanding and explanation of how the Apostolic taught regarding can and cannot do was they preached the don't do harshly even thou it was correct. It appear they didn't know how to preach the belief part 1st. They start out in the Acts of the Apostle. Really, Romans is my understanding of the foundation of being saved, then comes the Acts. You believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and then follow on to receiving the Holyghost to lead you. So, I called that breach. Due to their teachings to the baby christian that they got to do all this in order to be saved. Now, what was taught was correct, but it comes with spiritual growth. A child has to develop. Although, God can and is able to save, sanctify, and fill you all at once. But many times, it is a process. Being sanctified and filled in the soul with the power of God, that will completely change you within. So, the way you walk, talk, dress, and live will be not of this world. So, I get it. I have set in pcaf, paw, cogic missionary baptist, and baptist churches, and will say this: The body of Christ is not denominational teachings or doctrine. I understand that in the church are undeveloped preachers, teachers, and people in general. As a matter of fact, there are wolves, tares, apostates, hypocrites, imposter's, and so on. When I accessed it, I was over church hurt. Because I see it for what it really is. Just the devil trying to take us off the pathway. When we go after God, he will definitely renew our strength and restore our soul. I Thank God for what I learned from all these churches I attended. I even met and talked with others concerning the word of God. 7 day Adventist, AME, Church of Christ... To study the word ourselves with fasting and prayer and consecration will cause us to be in right standing with God and man. Church hurt will no longer have power over anybody when we go after God. After all, he is our groom, and we are his bride. All God wants from us is that relationship, and with that, he will lead, teach, and guide us. Yep, I love the process and the progress. Tough at times, but we have the word of God and the many songs written, minister or sung by many like Evangelist Twinkie that he uses to drop in our spirit to help us along the way. No regrets now.
