Players like Chalobah, Borja needs to move, and give the place to new up and coming talents or experienced players with quality.
We cant have good value players like this forever. Upgrade, or give room for new talents than gould be even better.

A swap wouldnt be bad at all. If Vlahovic scores 10 goals this season we can easily sell him next year for +70mil. So overall we might get a bit more money overall for that guy.

Vlahovic for Lukaku is such a good deal. He’s a decent striker and Jackson could use a little competition
I'm all in for competition, Jackson and Vlahovic fighting for starting spot looks great on paper but I'm worried about the POLITICS. Don't want Vlahovic to eat up Jackson's minutes even if he is playing bad just because of bigger PRICETAG.
If Jackson is playing bad, then he is playing bad. If Vlahovic is playing better, Vlahovic should start over him.

I see no issue having two top strikers in a team. It's only out dated managers that have rigid formations in all matches. The Poch I know is a modern type of manager that can play with one or two steilers depending on the weakness of the opposition. Bring on Vlahovic
At this point let's just trust the coaching staff and poch along with all involved in decision making.
If they believe Vlahovic is a good addition then so be it
We said the same thing when we signed players like Aubameyang and Sterling and guess what happened 🤷, as much as we have to trust the coach,we can't just blindly support everything, when a signing is questionable it is questionable simple as

Younes, the future for Chelsea looks very bright. The ideal scenario in my opinion is as follows:-
Lukaku to Juventus asap;
Caicedo to Chelsea;
Vlahovic to Chelsea;
Sterling to Saudi Arabia;
Any other additions would be more than welcome...
Cucurella back to Brighton
Haaland and alverez springs to mind pepe signed both same window and both been a success

You have to understand that ,as chelsea we need 4 central midfielders . 2 DM and 2 CM . That is the proper balance of a good team . If caicedo joins it means we have 1 DM whose the back up to caicedo ??? Enzo and callargher will be CM . With that in mind I should think Santos will stay . And don't forget we have 38 EPL games ,plus carabao and the FA cup . Considering we are not in Europe we would like to go further in these cup game's .
We have Broja, Nkunku, Jackson THATS ENOUGH STRIKER OPTIONS!! (Not to mention D Fofana will be back next season!)
Nkunku is not a true striker, broja is always injured and Jackson is going to afcon in January, we need to get rid of lukaku and Vlahovic is 23 with Haaland like qualities (I'm not saying he's as good as Haaland)

I have read that some of Vhalovic's "statistical weakness areas" are unfairly enhanced because of Juventus squad weakness and the formations they frequently used that did not play to his' strengths.
Robert Sanchez is an interesting one for me as ive watched quite a bit of him although his distribution is good he has a mistake where he overhits it sometimes or knocks it out of play etc. in terms of directly against Kepa hes played about 2000 less minutes (Kepa has played 109 games Robert has played 87 so less full 90 games) and has about 20 less clean sheets. Last season Robert Sanchez was dropped as he kept only 6 clean sheets out of 23 games played however it can be argued this was due to uncertainty of manager etc. Overall if chelsea can get him for about €30m i think it would be a good deal and can provide competition however its an interesting one to see how he adapts. Do also want to mention his 6’6 (198cm) stature compared to kepa and from what ive seen doesnt concede those long shots tooo often.
I can agree with doubts over Sanchez's shot stopping ability. But to say that he sometimes kicks the ball to throw while under pressure is not a point to make at all. Afterall best players also commit errors as well. Unless you mean that his errors are way too much that it could be a liability then I can buy into that notion.
Younes is right, two strikers has worked well in the past. I remember Greaves twinned up with Gilzean, who complimented each other, and both scored a hateful of goals. Greasy was a goal poacher, and Gilzean scored many headed goals.

Vlahovic isn't exactly an out and out striker whenever I see him play he drops in deep and carries the ball from midfield and he relies on the overlapping run from the wingers to give them the ball and later score it the reason he did not work out at Juve apart from his injuries was the inconsistencies in his partnership with the players out wide he was expected to partner with Chiesa but he was injured same goes for Kostic and Di Maria but with what we have I reckon we can make it work
Remember. ANY deal for Lukaku saves us £50m in wages over the rest of his contract.

Chelsea should do this swap deal if and only if we offload Lukaku and get Vlahovic for 10mil. Giving away 30mil for Vlahovic is crazy. We'll have 3 players for the centre forward spot: Jackson, Broja and Vlahovic. And this might lead to an unhappy dressing room when 3 highly rated stars compete for the same spot. And to have all this and still give 30mil is just insane.
Why not take Vlahovic and see how he does, then sell him for the 40mill in January.
Not sure about Broja. He just recover from horrible injury. Then, Jackson will be away for a while because of AFCON

I think we should look at Broja and seeing how he has come back from injury perhaps a 1 year loan or even six months loan to Strasbourg might be a good way to get his fitness back but not at the Premier league's pace. The deal with Vlahovic and that Lukaku must go ahead, what surprises me is that Boehly has done it yet. And that Mbappe deal is clearly a tactic from PSG to try and force Real Madrid to come in, Chelsea are trying to get some sort of wage structure and how much do you think he would settle for. £250k, £300k? Yeah right and the rest.
Levi Colwill had 2 years left on his #CFC deal. Plus this new 6 years deal, he will be here for the next 8/9 years!

About Lukaku, it's not only wage bill, he is also toxic, which is very bad to pass on to the young ones
Lukaku’s problem was coming back to the pl , it was proven that it’s not his scene and he still came back his better off in other leagues. I won’t be surprised if he succeeds at juve and with Jackson will he still be 1st option if a 200k players comes in who realistically speaking might also want to be first team

I would love to keep Andrey Santos in Chelsea 1st team because he is ready to play in PL, but if you loaned him to Brighton then Chelsea could keep Cassadei and not loan him out. I would also trust Brighton/DeZerbi to do a good job developing Santos like they did with Caicedo and Colwill.
An then wen it's time for him to play for us Brighton will want to act entitled to him jus like they did with colwill fuck no I'd rather send him to west ham
@@madrev7156 No the difference is unlike Colwill, Santos has just signed a long term deal with Chelsea. If he turns out to be special for them and Brighton want to offer Chelsea ₤100 Million to keep him, I'm guessing Chelsea would consider it.

The way poch is breathing life into these players already, Vlahovic could really find his feet here and become a very clinical striker for us. There is always the risk but we are all aware of the potential and have seen the glimmers of greatness from him.

Is Vlahovic worth 75m (35m + Lakaka(40m)? if the board think he is then i dont mind getting him. But if we are only getting him to get rid of Lakaka, then he will be another deadwood on high wages come next year. Having said that I want to keep my faith on the board, trust their decisions and hope for the best.
