Hello Amber. A moving melody and, as usual, another excellent pick. I began practicing a bit of lead play on this little gem just yesterday. Now that I am retired with little money learning some lead play has become my hobby. Too bad I waited so late in life to become a "guitar man." Thanks for the good work you are doing in here out there. Peace/Blessings 8:49

    Lyrics for motivación
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to save me
This all or nothing really got a way of driving me crazy
    I need somebody to heal
    Somebody to know
    Somebody to have
    Somebody to hold
    It's easy to say
    But it's never the same
I guess I kinda liked the way you numbed all the pain
    Now the day bleeds
    Into nightfall
    And you're not here
To get me through it all
    I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to turn to
This all or nothing way of loving got me sleeping without you
Now, I need somebody to know
    Somebody to heal
    Somebody to have
Just to know how it feels
It's easy to say but it's never the same
I guess I kinda liked the way you helped me escape
    Now the day bleeds
    Into nightfall
    And you're not here
To get me through it all
    I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
And I tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes
    I fall into your arms
I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around
    For now the day bleeds
    Into nightfall
    And you're not here
To get me through it all
    I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
    But now the day bleeds
    Into nightfall
    And you're not here
To get me through it all
    I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved
    I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

Hi Amber, would you mind to do some Lady Gaga’s songs like Shallow, Always remember us this way, is that alright, I’ll never love again, Million Reasons. Also make sure you have everything the same way as Lady Gaga like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns too. Also Ronan Keating song When You Say Nothing At All and make sure you have everything the same way as Ronan Keating like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns too. Also please find out how many times do we strum/fingerpicked each chords for all sections of the songs. You can start with these songs first.

so a quick question, you recorded the picking part separately and then layered the rest of the song on top of it? as in how do we do it if we wanna play it all together?

    • @thestellarguitarist
      @thestellarguitarist  5 місяців тому +2

Yes, I played the chords while strumming and layered the picking part on top. Unfortunately it's not possible to strum and pick those 2 parts at the same time. My advice would be to record yourself doing the one part and then play it back while you strum/pick over it - like I did! 😁

There's a discrepancy in the bridge chord sequence I think, its not 2 bars of G its a bar and a half of G and half a bar of Em. But you do make it look so simple 👍

    • @thestellarguitarist
      @thestellarguitarist  3 місяці тому

Hi Martin, yes you can split the bar and play 2 beats on G and 2 beats on Em 😊 it will sound great !
