Love your finished object Deb! She’s adorable. And I will confess that I am so old that when I started stitching in 1981, DMC floss was 10 cents!!😂😂😂❤❤
I got a spot on the cruise…so excited to meet you both. Your channel was the first flosstube I watched which got me back into stitching . When Deb said “you don’t have to finish a project before u start on another one”…it blew my mind. Liz and her gadgets helped get me organized….now I have WIPS , stash, project bags and so much more. Next year can’t come fast enough….and yes I think about all things to bring and who I will meet before I fall asleep since I received the confirmation . September went by so fast this year.
Thank you for another great informative fun video! Always enjoy listening to you two laugh at one another. Well, my sister and I got a spot “The Cruise “, we’re both so excited to share the ocean air with you guys! We’ll bring the motion sickness pills. And some laughs of our own. Can’t wait! I’ll be the tall one and sister be be the taller one. Oh wait she is 8 years younger than me so she got shorter- I’ll still be the taller one. Confused, us to. We apologize.
Hi Liz and Deb, nice to see you both. I love the quilty witch and the changes you did . September is a nice month for getting ready for the fall and the beautiful changes of the leafs
Hard to believe September is gone! It was really hot here in Arizona, with record setting temps. Looking forward to some cooler weather. Loved seeing Liz's journals. I purchased the Stitchers Bible the last time you highlighted it. Great book. See you next time. I look forward to seeing you both
I keep buying your recommendations I bought the lamp from Amazon and the book you recommended. I’m going to check out the idea about changing your books to lay flat. Love you guys. Your ideas are so good
That witch’s colours are spot on! Love love it❤. Just did a master set and oh would like to put them in colour families but I am useless at that, lol this was the first year my sunflowers actually bloomed all lated August and all September. Looks bear over by the fence now.🌻 Deb is enjoying your journal, the odd smile grin. Lol. Those potokys are beautiful!
Well, what a bummer! I went to Link for cruise, and it is SOLD OUT and waiting list is full. My loss. Too much going on here at home and I didn't remember to check on it. Country Stitchers were the first FlossTuber I ever watched, and I love Carol, Saltbox Stitcher. Can't forget Jean. What a privilege it would have been. It would have been our first cruise. Oh well, Came and went as fast as September.
You two are so classy. I enjoyed it all: Bobbin and her woes, the Quilted Witch, the sweet giveaways, the review of what’s on your bookshelf! Thank you for sharing!
You had the name of the fabric on your floss ring. You said it, 46 count something from fiber on a whim. I yelled it loud as I could, awe, shucks you couldn't hear me. It was a Dresden Plate scissors FOB. Hee hee, you guys need me to help you. Especially on the cruise. My kids weren't allowed to say they were bored I had a job jar for bored children. Only a few kid size jobs came out of the jar, they learned quick. Of coarse that jar hung out on the counter alot. Reminder eh? Hahaha Every September they would go back to school, they'd come back home only to race out to play and I never heard I'm bored. Ehhh, my son bought a shirt that said "I'm bored" ... go figure. No jobs for wearing it. Heeee haha Thanks for all you do to make such great videos. But if the job is opened to assist you, I'm there, even having to go on a cruise, I'd go if I had too. Lol
Love you gals! Always my favorite! Another wonderful visit! Love the Witch and the mouse! Where did September go? Oh my Oct is passing quickly too. Christmas before we know it!
I try to never miss a video! I so enjoy you both..I am turning 65 in November and wish I lived near you two and could learn everything you both know how to do..May the LORD Bless you both! !September
I still haven't broken down and gotten a Potoky stand but they look great and I like the new design. I haven't gotten official work, but I'm pretty sure I submitted my application in time to be on the Floss Tubers cruise in 2026 - I can't wait to meet you guys!
It warms my heart to see the friendship you two ladies share! You are both so talented, and a true joy to watch. I love the original journals that Liz has kept all these years - and it was fun to see how quickly Deb got engrossed in looking at one! Your stitching projects are always fun to see, and I appreciate it you sharing when things don't go quite as planned. Enjoy this fall season; it's amazing how quickly September (and now half of October) have flown by!! 😊
I love watching you two ladies! I always smile!! The witch color changes came out beautiful! I would not have been interested in it if I hadn't seen your color changes!! BTW My birthday is September and I love and collect sunflowers!!
I had to quickly tell you that I just received notification that I was accepted into the Flosstube at Sea 2026 cruise that you gals will be on! I can’t even tell you how excited I am…your flosstube was the very first one I watched when I became aware of Flosstube, and I have followed you ever since, going back and watching every episode from the beginning. Thank you for all the inspiration and encouragement and joy you have brought me, and I so look forward to meeting you on the cruise!
September kinda vanished this year. I'm not sure why. I started stitching sometime in the early 80's but I didn't keep records. I do have some of my early issues of Cross Stitch and Country Crafts including the premier issue. The oldest piece I have in my possession is a DeGrazia nativity I stitched in 1985. It was a gift to my in-laws and therefore returned to me. I love your color conversion and the tweaks to the Stitchy Witch.❤
Hi Liz and Deb love all your WIP's and finishes. Love the quilted witch and the colors really pop. Always enjoy watching your channel. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Thanks for your tip on Bobbin!! I’ve only done her tail so far! I’m working on a beautiful Christmas start, it uses a lot of black but to me it should be gold but I can’t think of what it should be!! I want it to be gold not yellow. It’s done in dmc 777, 895 (my pick! ) the rest is 310. I have a lot of hand dyed floss but I’m just not good at choosing!! Love your videos!!
Love your videos. Your Quilted Witch looks fantastic! I can’t wait to see what you have come up with for finishing! Thank you for sharing your love of stitching. ❤
I was not going to stitch the witch but now that I see yours! Oh my it turned out beautifully. Would you share how you did the broom? As always, another enjoyable video. Happy stitching.
Thank you lovely ladies! Deb you have such an artists eye. Love your ability to make pieces yours! Would love an update on the montage. Just sayin!! Liz you are always so upbeat. A real joy. Oh by the way. You enabled me to order the cross stitch Bible!! So looking forward to getting it.
So love watching you ladies, you are amazing and love your work. August and SEPTEMBER are really busy months as those are canning months. My mother and grandmother canned fruit and vegetables as I was growing up and I have continued this process with my daughter and granddaughters. It is a great bonding time and we love the finish products during the winter months.
I was pleasantly surprised to see you two so soon! You’re on a roll and I love it!!! Liz, you were journaling your cross stitch before it was even popular! So awesome having those memories. Deb, my kids are grown and still will not say they are bored when they are around me. 😂. Loved your podcast!!! ❤
Hello Ladies!! From the beginning of finding your videos, I have never been disappointed in it's content.... this one is no exception! Love how you two interact w/each other.. as "sisters" do!! OH.. some September stitching! And my fav sunflowers to boot!!! Love the journal, Liz! I have one given to my aunt Emma (now deceased) by her granddaughter and it is crammed w/humor, family ancestry notes, etc. Written in the 1980s, and still funny as the dickens!!! Stay well! Blessings 💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for the video ladies. Love the new Petoky stands, they are beautiful. The leaves here were beautiful in September. Have a great week, looking forward to your next video.
You ladies are such a joy to watch! Love your changes in the Quilted Witch, Deb. September is the perfect month to start some Fall stitching!! Take care!
Lovely to see you lovely ladies again-love your friendship ❤️. Thank you for reminding us about all your tutorials and videos- i've just made a chunky pumpkin like the one Liz won- hope its not another rabbit hole for me .Julie, England ❤
I have an off the wall question you may be able to help me with. Do cross stitchers ever have shows like quilters have. I go to a lot of quilt shows but would love if they started up cross stich shows. They could have vendors just like at quilt shows, etc. Just curious if you were aware of anything similar and if so, where?
Thank you two so much for the amazing review! We appreciate it so much! We had several orders come in from this already. Thank you all for the support. This is so awesome!
Just letting everyone know that Apple Spice and Pepperberry are both back in stock. Limited quantities but more will be available in the future. Thank you all so much!!!
Such a treat to see your video as I was staying up late stitching. Deb, your finish of that cute little quilted witch is so adorable and I love the colors that you chose. Thank you so much ladies. I'm so sad that September is over because we still get lovely summer weather then but now it's getting so much colder.
You two are such a joy to watch. September is my birthday month! Liz, I can't believe you've kept all of your cross stitching journals over the years...WOW!!!
Hi ladies. Liz, I enjoyed the DMC color card segment. I initially purchased one of those back in the 1990’s. The threads were sandwiched between two layers of cardboard and then clipped so that you had an inch or so of actual floss as a sample. I then purchased an updated copy about a decade later with the floss wound nicely, as your version shows. I recently purchased an even more updated version last year. I initially thought I would discard the old books until I realized that the floss colors were not entirely the same. Several had changed. I still have a box of floss from the 1980’s & 1990’s that I will occasionally pull from so I am glad that my past self never threw out the older versions as I can compare them to see which floss(es) I want to use. They all sit on my bookshelf together and it has come in handy several times. Books are always worth keeping.
Love the Witch!
Those look like beautiful needlework stands.
If we said we were bored, Mom gave us a chore to do!
Marilyn
Love you ladies…thank you so much for all your journaling Liz and love love love Potoky hoop holders! They are great! 🥰❤️👍🏻👍🏻
