Hi Audrey! Thanks for the shoutout! I was SHOCKED!! It was so nice meeting you at Hobby House - hope our paths cross again in real life. In the meantime, I’ll see you on your channel! 😊❤😊
I hope so too! That room was too cramped to move around and say hi to everyone but hopefully it’s easier to make the rounds next time! 😊 Happy stitching!
Thank you, Karen! Hannah and Maria are two of my favorites as well and now on their way back from the framer so I'll get to share those FFOs soon! Thanks for watching ❤
Yay for finding Golden Squash when you least expected it!! 🎉🎇 😅 That is truly delightful. What else is delightful is all the GORGEOUS projects you showed us, both completed and in process! You are truly an amazing needleworker. I don’t know if you realize that, but it’s true. It was so much fun visiting with you today! Have a wonderful rest of your October! ☺️ Meline
You are so sweet, Meline! Thank you! I love all the projects I've been working on lately and am just glad I can share them with you guys 🥰 Always nice to hear from you, talk to you in November! 😊
Hi Audrey! I always enjoy yor flosstube. I love to see your finishes, wips and to hear the stitchy clever ramblings. I read North and South after watching the amazing miniseries. The book was very good, as the series. I rewatched again after I finished the book. It's well done and so romantic! Thanks for sharing & Happy Stitching!
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll check out the North and South series when I get through the book. Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I love sharing my stitching and glad you guys enjoy it as well! Talk to you in November! 😊
Audrey, what a fantastic video - I loved all of your stories and all of the things you showed. I was at HHN the week after the GBSWCTA and saw several of the things you mentioned. I had never been there before - I hope to go back someday, but it is a 700 miles from where I live, so it takes a special trip for sure! I am all inspired now ... and your tablemates at the retreat are undoubtedly the most fun famous people we "know" - but they will be saying the exact same about you!
It was a great time! So glad you got to visit HH and I hope there was plenty left to look at after the craziness of the GBSW! That place was a madhouse! 😅😅😅
Thank you for another great Flosstube! I really enjoyed hearing about the Great Sampler Weekend. Your fabric choices are wonderful. Hope you make it out to Oregon sometime.
Thanks for another inspiring video! I bought Isabella Uffindell this summer because our daughter is named Isabella. I think it's going to be my birthday start in December!
It was great to talk to you at retreat! I love the linen you chose for your Eliza sampler. That bone color is perfect. If you’re ever at Elkhart Lake and want to get away from the racetrack and go somewhere stitchy, let me know. I’m about 45 minutes from there.
I had no idea you were so close to Elkhart Lake! We always go in August and sometimes in June so I'll reach out next time we head up there! I'd love to get lunch or something 😊
Always enjoy your bulletins from the Floss Palace, showing all your beautiful stitching. I’ve read North and South; the BBC dramatisation of it is one of my favourites.
"This just in from the Floss Palace..." I love it 😂 When I finish the book I'm looking up the BBC North and South! BBC rarely disappoints! Thanks for watching 😊
Lovely to hear about the Great Sampler weekend. I need to start watching flosstube with my eyes closed to avoid being enabled😉 Did you know Tears for Fears have new stuff coming out. They were all over the radio here this week.
Hi Audrey, I thoroughly enjoyed your video. You do spectacular work. I don’t know if you video in your sewing room, but I would love to see some of your work on the wall behind you. Your work is so beautiful I would love to see some of it on display. Be proud of your stitching and don’t be shy to show it off. Keep up the videos, I love them. From Australia, Audrey xx
Enjoyed your video. I was at the HH retreat too. I did the US/UK pattern this week. I did it in 2 afternoons. I’m not sure if I will finish it as a scissor fob. I like turning small designs into needle books. I can’t believe how many patterns we were given. The extra one I bought was Kathleen Dempsey. I love Irish Samplers plus it is comparatively small so I may get it done this year. Happy stitching!
I hope you had a great time at the HH retreat! It was amazing how many wonderful things we were given and it was so fun for me to reunite with some friends. Kathleen Dempsey is a beauty and I hope you enjoy stitcher her! Thanks for watching! 😊
Aw, thank you so much! Yes, there were a lot of people I should have introduced myself but it was hard to move about in that room. Hope you had fun though! 😊
👋 still spectacular second time around❗️I’m also stitching Elizabeth’s 4 Dog’s but personalizing it as a tribute to my Airedale Terrier Cooper who turned 11 in July, fun piece. Looking forward to seeing your progress on stitching next time. Take care Audrey, 👻🎃
Now I want to go back and re-read some of those English classics. I will add North and South to the list! Loved all your projects and wonderful haul. I missed the pincushion from Vashdi? (sp?)
Sounds like you had a wonderful time, that’s awesome. Love your linen choices and all your charts. I have never seen My Father’s House, that is beautiful. You can never go wrong with a Shakespeare’s Peddler chart, I have Ann Dale and keep saying I’m going to start it, just haven’t found the right linen. Hoop and Frame has the 100.3 for the Uffindell sisters, if I wasn’t already so far on them, I would have got the silks. Thanks for sharing everything.
The My Father's House chart was a nice find, glad you like it! And thank you for the tip about the 100.3 kit on Hoop and Frame - I've added it to cart! 😊 Thanks for watching! ❤️
Audrey I have been trying to figure out how to get floss drops printed for several years. You mentioned in this video about getting some printed and that you received them in the mail. I wonder if you could share info with me. I would be ever so grateful thank you
Yes! I, and many other people, just order business cards from VistaPrint or another printing service. You can design your own and put a photo on one side as I did and your info on the other. Hope this helps! 😊
First of all your needle book is AMAZING and I would also be so proud I’d carry it everywhere! Second: I too adore a good chicken and that chart you showed is going into My checkout basket but fast! Love it! And lastly : our kids grew up singing ALL the vast varied stuff from my early days. My dtr in her 20s said to a co worker something about “yeah like in Eleanor Rigby” and was met with an empty stare. She called me all indignant and said this is why the world is turning to crap these kids don’t know any good music… mind you she was like 22 at the time 😂😂😂😂 and my sweet nephew grew up the same , lives in the UK. Went off to school at the age of four happily singing “what’s new pussycat” ala Tom Jones. 😂😂😂😂 Our kids grew into interesting people …Morris is off to a great start! ❤
Fun, fun, fun!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful projects!!! ❤❤

Bet the attic has a 103 conversion for Anne and Isabelle. Thanks for the fun stories and the vicarious shopping!
Oh Casterbridge - the Mayor of - the book - and your linen - love!!!
So many beautiful finishes! ❤
I love seeing your choices of wips. Hannah Campbell and Maria Ewin are my favourites so far.
Thank you, Karen! Hannah and Maria are two of my favorites as well and now on their way back from the framer so I'll get to share those FFOs soon! Thanks for watching ❤

I really liked that needle book. Your finish is very nice.
Thank you so much! It's a beautiful little piece 😊
Great Flosstube Audrey, so inspiring. Thankyou for sharing, it’s always a pleasure to catch-up with you ❤
Thanks, Sue! Glad you enjoyed 😊

Thanks for watching, Steph! 🥰
PS - I vote for the Casterbridge fabric for the antique reproduction sampler…it is perfection!!!! 💚
It was lovely to meet you at the Retreat Audrey, always enjoy your videos!!
Nice to meet you too! Hope you guys had a great time 🥰
You’re the most precious!!! So happy you’re having so much fun!
Thank you, Janet! 🥰

Ha! We would all save a lot of money if that's how we watched flosstube! And thanks for the TFF tip! Looking it up now! 😁

I had much the same experience at Persnickety. So I usually go to AIS even though it is further for me.
I missed you at the retreat, but will hopefully see you at another. The next best thing was to subscribe to your channel. 😀

Hi Audrey myrehn❤
Still enjoyable with or without edits😂
I bet in some ways it was funnier! 😉 Thanks for watching 😊
