do it, that's what i did. imo you learn much faster when every small mistake is punished by death, i only have ~20 hours in game and the difficulty pushed me to improve very fast. in the space of my first play through i went from complete newbie to meat hook flying quickswap doom and soon plan to go for my UN run. i recommend it heavily, that is if u actually WANT the challenge, unlike a lot of other people who say they do but end up giving up on the game or lowering the difficulty because they refuse to learn how to succeed with its mechanics.
This makes me want to buy the game and immediately play on the hardest difficulty with no prior knowledge on how to play it

best mindset for doom eternal honestly. even though the game is kind of expensive its worth every dollar (or whatever currency you use lol)
Is it just me or does anyone else think that the Phobos skin looks way better than the gold one?😅
