ANÚNA & M'ANAM : Excerpt from the documentary "Echoes of Ireland, The Music of Michael McGlynn)

Today is National Iceland Day (June 17), and to mark this special day this is an excerpt that features that beautiful country from the forthcoming feature-length Documentary "Echoes of Ireland, The Music of Michael McGlynn" due imminently.
This excerpt features two of Michael's beautiful songs "Gunnarshólmi" sung by M'ANAM and "Sofðu, unga ástin mín" from ANÚNA's Otherworld album alongside interviews from some of the Icelandic singers. Sending all our love to all our friend's in Iceland!

Beautiful! Not only does the melody not go where you expect, but the harmonies are often quite unexpected, as well. Best I can call it is a kind of tone poem. I REALLY like it, and I really need to put Iceland on my bucket list. That landscape at the end was almost unworldly, and spectacular.
