this is such an incredible piece. i just turned 18 and i love all kinds of rap, rock and electronica, but i think its safe to say that most kids my age dont have an appreciation for music like this. its such a shame.
@@artivism4068 it’s just fact, most young people nowadays hate classical music or think it’s boring for some reason... I study classical music and I’m 18 and I can confirm. Just try putting some classical music in high school and look at other people’s reactions and I guess you are able to imagine how weird they will look at you ahah
I’m a big fan of the Leonhardt’s rendition of this music, but you can count on Trevor Pinnock coming in with a wonderful version. The main difference is how Leonhardt included a traverse flute for tonal warmth.
When Pinnock hits it out of the park, the music sounds like this. Very similar to the Leonhardt/Bruggen version, though the latter substitutes violin with baroque flute (which I prefer, actually).

The second movement " La Livri " is absolutely amazing !!!! Fantastic concerto !!! Chapeau Rameau !!!
painting: "Group of Birds Perched on Branches," Frans Snyders, Baroque period ca. 1630
Very beautiful. Thank you sir.

The mvt starting at 3:30 I am used to hearing faster but this is delightful. I think this is Rameau's most beautiful pieces.
Oh thank you for this!!!

Sublime music!
This one of the first examples of trios with an obliged keyboard instrument.
And the harpsichordist shall be hammered and on 500 micrograms of LSD.

So this piece is the only chamber music he composed? What a shame, it's beautiful. Great recording, too.
There are five Pieces de clavecin en concert in total. This is the first of them...there are four more.
It is a shame for not knowing other works.
This is exquisite! BTW -- can someone identify that beautiful picture?
Love it. And great picture combination!
バロックの傑作だな。初めて聴いたけど、とても心地よい曲だな。
this rameau's trio sounds like an orchestra
I love how "crunchy" the harpsichord sounds in La Coulicam
, it's like cereal

This is wonderful.
The uploader might give credit to the painter. More than just respectful, some would be interested and learn.
Frans Snyders is the painter.
Splendid.

The beginning sounds experimental, or even jazz like.

Estoy aprendiendo que no todo es Bach y Haendel...

I'm hearing B minor.
The tuning is somewhat lower than A = 440 - more like A = 415.........
