Dude, your videos have a really chill vibe! It's nice seeing something other than the pubs and whatnot. It paints a more complete pic of what life is like in Thailand. And that picture is much more appealing. Thank you!
Thank you! There tons of other things to do here besides party 🎉! Thailand is awesome and it can be whatever you want to make of it! To each their own! 😊😊I appreciate the support!
I was expecting a big motorbike! I guess it next to soi one or the beginning of beach road where you are, perfect place to start. Jomtein beach road is a long nice ride. Can you cycle from your place to that 7/11 Jomtein on a path???? I do it every day on a scooter via big bhudda road….it’s 30/40km ride from my area.
That is awesome! Sounds like a good ride! I haven’t been on my bike in awhile. I have had a few friends from America come visit and I have been busy with them! Plan to get back out on the bike soon! 😊
That is an excellent question as I have not been in the water myself! I see a few stand up Patel boards, even fewer swimmers. I see lots of people on boats and jet skis. I see many many people in the beach with their feet in the water. Now you have me curious. I am going to investigate this for myself! Thank you for your question!!
Great video!! We are neighbors. Just yesterday I was at the same places as in your video - except I ate at the Checkpoint. Have you visited the Checkpoint outdoor foodcourt yet? You passed it on your bike. I live in your neighborhood for the exact same reasons - chillin, quiet beach road, away from crazy Pattaya - but near enough to go every once and a while, etc. Let's meet one day to shoot the breeze....
Yes! I love the check point! There is a place in the with the best chicken tacos! I also enjoy the smoothie stand right across the street! I get on coconut smoothie a day! I hope to see you around sometime!! 😊
@@shincitythailand8731 I eat at the Thai paella place within the Checkpoint foodcourt. I usually get the octupus paella and right next door in the next stall is a drink place where I get a mint coconut drink. The Thai people who work there are super nice. Ok James (Jimmy) I hope that we can find a way to meet. Perhaps you can organize a James fan club event. Eat, meet, and greet!!!
I got that bike right across the street from Terminal 21. In the Lotus shopping center there is a Decathlon Sporting Goods store on the second floor- I got it there- I believe is was 7or 8 thousand bhat. I think it is perfect for me because I won’t use it that much. I’m not sure if I would recommend it for daily use. Go check it for yourself! I hope this helps! 😊

Cool! That's exactly what I would be doing all the time if I lived there!
That food looked good! I love the videos.
Hey Dr. Sowell! ALL the food is great here! Healthy and super inexpensive! Thanks for the support! 😊
How much did you pay for the food. Good video

What's the water quality like at the beach? I never see anyone swimming.

I go to the smoothie stall at the top of soi 5 Pratumnak outside the 7/11 for my coconut smoothie milkshake.
