omg thank you for showing the durability results. This whole video is so helpful.
When you say "one part Pro's Aide to 10 parts paradise paint" how do you mix the pro's aide with the paint cake?
probably water
Thank you so much for sharing...this was so helpful! I purchased a mehron paradise pallet and cannot wait 2 use! And because I want 2 use it to go to a halloween party, your tip on adding the pros aide is something thing that I am happy that u mentioned! I never heard of it but it sounds like it perfect to keep the face on all night...#Great Review
Green color looks cool on her, like natural idk. Looked nice.
as an Orc pc that is still learning make up, this video was extremely helpful and informative. thanks!!
That is pretty different from what I am used to as Orks in Larp. In Germany most orc players use full or half masks in combination with a bit makeup to camouflage the visible patches of skin.
TheExplodingChipmunk that's always been an option I have tried to make available to plot staff and people who wanna play those type of orcs for sure. I think it's a great alternative to a prosthetic with a lot of makeup. This is more for the people who want to be less creature-like I suppose haha
Larp House Thats right. But I believe our Orks tent to be a bit more extreme than others. At Drachenfest you have the Ork camp. It is one big camp of Ork and Goblin player´s and they are mostly along the lines of the LoTR or Warhammer Orks.
Larp House But the review is not only good for Orks. In post apocalyptic lap, which is the branch i play mostly, we have the mutants. And boy they make impressive costumes. That includes sometimes excessive makeup. We have players that run around five days in full makeup.

Great video!!
Amazing review you answered every question I had 😂 I have just one left 🙈 does it last when you apply this on top of a liquid foundation?? So if I were to have a full face of regular makeup and use the mehron paradise to paint designs on top? 🙏🏼
Great video! Thanks for suffering for our education, i would never have thought to mix prosaid with the Paradise! Have you noticed any difference using the Mehron mixing liquid instead of water on the Wolfe and Paradise paints?
HOW LONG WILL 1.4OZ OF MEHRON PARADISE PAINT LAST?? LIKE HOW MANY FULL BODY COSPLAYS CAN I DO??
I don't do full body every time BUT I can tell you I've painted *at least* 30 orc faces, necks, and hands with one tub.
With the pros aide..how are you mixing it with the paint? Should I be doing my whole face with the paint and sealing with a coat of pros aide..or am i dipping the brush in the paint palette and then pros aide and then applying? im not sure what 2 do because i never used any of these products b4 and im confused about mixing "equal parts" when the paradise is a irremovable pot in a palette...please help..before my project turns into a complete disaster..Thank u!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. You just made me feel much better about my Mehron Paradise Paint tutorial. Would you mind link or listing the brush or brushes you used and a the palettles you used for your eyes and lips. The purple lip color was beautiful and I noticed you using a palette or two and would love to know what they were. Thank you so much for the info.
What a great video! QUESTION: What color wolfex did you use? The light green or mint color? Im looking to cosplay beast boy and definitely want to stay on the lighter greens and avoid those nasty blue undertones that are apparent in darker greens as much as possible. Thank you! Youre awesome :)
Oh thank god for this video, I've been using snazaroo because of budget but it keeps crumbling off. I'm planning a half orc costume and was wondering which mehron colour you used? Thanks!
great video!
This video is great thanks
What brush did you use for the water based make up and how did you apply it?
the link for your mehron paradise paint is broken, what color did you get it in?
I use Mehron Paradise in white for LARP but I'm having trouble applying it evenly. I've tried with a sponge and a brush. What am I doing wrong?
For the prefect "ogre green" what do u reccomend ?
How did each of these fare next to clothing? Was there any wear or residue (or do they come out of clothes easily)?
How do you set your makeup to last through sweat and water ?
Which color of Mehron Paradise did you use? Lime green or light green?
Is there any n o t neon green color options?
♥️ great video..
What shade of Mehron did you use? And Wolfe?
Starblend is a powder cake you actually are ruining the product by applying water, Its used dry
Carmen Mendoza oh thank god lol I thought Mehron had failed me. I'll add an annotation saying that in the video. Thank you! That would make it easier to apply but I don't see how water would make it come off as easily as it did later in the day, I'll try it again just as powder and see if it still comes off like that! Thanks!
you are welcome :), I actually did the same thing the first time and I was sooo confused then I did my research and found out that its not water activated. I watched paintedparty she is a pro with starblend, you should check her out
yokinakitsu maybe because that sponge is for wet applications, starblends are like shadow so you need a sponge applicator, they are called lollipop foam blenders
I was about to say the same thing.. I was like noooo..
This is so helpful-you are seriously amazing! Here's a question, though. I have a palette of the Mehron Paradise that I've been using for years, but I've always had trouble with the grey for some reason. It doesn't go on as consistently as the other colors and my skin shows through, which can be really annoying sometimes. Since I play a character covered in fur, I can usually cheat my way through it with tiny white hairs thrown in to fool the eye, but it still kind of irks me. Any ideas? Also, I have found that for noses, H20-proof eyeliner works AMAZINGLY. I tried to wear it as actual eyeliner and it's just a sticky mess that gets into my eyes, but I have used that stuff on my nose countless times now and, though it feels like it's never fully dry (don't boop anyone with your snoot), you can scratch your nose all day and have next to no issues. Be prepared to scrub for a while though once you wash all of your makeup off because it's stubborn, but that's exactly what I want when it comes to playing a coyote. :P
Hmmm that is interesting! I've used a ton of Paradise colors that I've used but my palette didn't come with a grey, so I've always mixed my own from the black and the white (honestly I only used straight black or white for detail work so it worked out fine) and I never notice consistency problems when I do that. I did finally buy myself a grey though so if I run into the same problem I'll let you know how I solve it!
If I'm doing an all-day animal character makeup, I'll use Skin Illustrator alcohol makeup for noses and lips, and that way you can scratch, boop and eat to your heart's content! That makes it much easier coming off too. A little 99% alcohol on a cotton pad and you're free lol
Alrighty, thank you so much! Though I am curious- where might someone acquire this magical Skin Illustrator makeup? I've definitely been having trouble with my lips (can't find good black lipstick anywhere), so something a little tougher sounds right up my alley.
+TheYellowGoggles amzn.to/1R2T82f this is the exact palette I use but you can get much smaller palettes by browsing Amazon :)
Thank you so much! You guys are the bomb-diggety!
can you try graftobian pro paint? i know madeyewlook uses it for most of her body painting.
I actually have used it before, I know she loves it but I don't like the texture -at all- it's very grainy and a bit muddy. That may be a personal preference thing, but I know Lex mentions she uses Wolfe paints when she wants a "cleaner line"- and Paradise Paint makes really clean velvety lines by itself without the pitfalls of Wolfe paints.
I love you so much!!!!!
Darlin you're making us blush
What is pros aide?
With the Mehron Paradise paint, do you think it will bother sensitive skin? I've had bad breakouts/tingling skin from other face and body paints I've tried in the past
Depends! What were the products you used that caused irritation? Grease paints and cream-based paints are definitely some common culprits in breakouts. Paradise paint is pretty gentle, but it's also slightly scented I believe. I've also had people troubleshoot with me about paints irritating their skin only to find out that it was the soap they used to remove it!
From my experience, it doesn't. The ingredients are very skin safe (Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter, Cucumber etc.) and it feels like you're not wearing anything.
I WANT YOUR SHIRT IN THE EPIC EFFECTS TAKE. WANT
Beautifulhalo.com BUT their sizes run REALLY small! I'm wearing an XL in that occult sweater.
/shop/LarpHouse on etsy doesn't seem to exist? Can you put the link to it in your [About] tab?
TheQwuilleran hey! There is actually no Etsy store anymore. We’re moving shops to another platform 😅
Larp House that's awesome! nice
so as someone who will be larping as an otter person very soon how long would you say a pallet of these lasts? I have never used this kind of make up (the most i have used is liquid latex for scars, a bald cap and custom temporary tatoos for an insane satanist serial kill... i mean doctor... yeah sure doctor). my larp is a full weekend and its humid as all hell where so would it be better to touch up the second day or just redo it?
So what you're gonna want to do is paint a thin layer of pros-aide on your face BEFORE you paint your face (it's just easier than adding pros-aide to a million different colors when you're going full anthropomorphic animal face) which will protect the makeup from the oil on your skin. Then seal it with sealant and a makeup sponge and that should survive moderate humidity. I'm always gonna recommend cleaning your face as best you can at the end of the day and sleeping in a clean face so your skin can breathe. Though, I know that's not always how we roll.
OR
If you want a nice makeup paint job (like, not just changing your skin tone but painting an otter face on your face) to last all weekend with very few touch ups and be basically impervious to water, you're gonna want to invest in a Skin Illustrator alcohol palette. It'll actually be about the same as getting a large palette of the water-based colors to meet your needs. Check out our video about them:

Thank you very much. i was looking at the alcohol palette but I'm worried that it would irritate my sensitive skin, as well as taking it off for my Npc shift.
+joseph egner the key is to MOISTURIZE afterwards. Products with cucumber and aloe. Cucumber masks were balm to my skin since I was scrubbing and using alcohol to remove some of the green for this video ;)
An otter person, you say? I might have to do something with this idea...
thats a very natural look for you
I plan on being the Hulk
I... think I'm in love with you.
You are a very attractive lady.
