It’s really sad that they never got to play this, Escape, and Orion with Cliff live.
Cliff and James hated escape lol so that's probably why they never did it live
@@doodoodan Yup you are right about James and Cliff hating Escape. I almost forget that I made this comment 1 year ago 😂
@@cliffburton1545 Time flies brother lol
@@doodoodan It sure does. I think I was still 13 when I posted this comment.
@@cliffburton1545 God damn lol
Thats how heavy metallica is. The lights cut out. So metallllllll :/
Hit the lights😎😎
4:10 you can hear the drums from And Justice For All
Lars give them demo part
Love on the random fans getting on stage and security calming escorting them out. A far cry from today
I think security and safety got more serious after the Dimebag incident
That's maybe because it's England. They're more polite there. That certainly was not the case with the security when I saw Metallica in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom in 1986. As well as with other shows I saw in that era. They were pretty brutal.
What a gem this video. I can't believe that after so many years there's still Metallica shit I haven't seen.
Excellent old performance. I think it captures that original energy that made everyone lose their fuckin minds.
those small gigs are the best
Lars playing run to the hills at 5:26 lol
metallica played it a lot back in the day
Love these small club concerts. It's more personal.
When his voice started to changr
1989
nick davis to better levels
What happens when you combine British metal and American punk? Metallica thrash then comes the other ones lmao. Metallica are the founding fathers of thrash
3:43 epic:)
Worst thing they ever did was cut their hair and get rid of newsted. Dude was pure energy and feeling
DEV3N87 know this comment was from a while, but Newsted left himself
Voivod got him : )
Cos hair made all the difference 🤦♂️
@@Hoscitt its an attitude thing
He fooking left the band!!!!
Awww how sweet! Their friends Jim and Tammy must have been thrilled that Jaymz dedicated this song to them. I bet they’re such a sweet couple!
That’s a joke, kids.
The very first time live
Jason's shirt \m/
Jason????
Is this the closest James came to "red hot chili peppers" mode, wearing nothing but his underpants? At least they weren't BVDs. Lol
Omg James wear tights
They played some highway star from deep purple?
4:08 Well, this IS the 100 club. I guess they mean the 100 Watt Club. Lol Looks like they’ve exceeded the limit.
4:09 lars: carajo me dejaron solo
5 stars!
Poor little Jason hadn’t come out of his rock ‘n’ roll God shell yet
Jason is wearing that FSU shirt jaymz used to wear
This is night before donington gig, where you saw that shirt.
Power failure! Blame thatcher!!!
James in shorts, rare
Cliff Should be Play this Song¡¡
jason newsted
4:27 tjacka bira då
Va? Ere i swe lr?
yeahhhhhhhhh
Metallica rocks forever motherfuckerssssssss
If Cliff and James hated Escape then why write it and put it on Ride
Because the record was done but the record label demanded another song. They just threw it together at the last minute.
The label wanted a song that sounded more Judas priest like
the record label wanted a radio friendly song
jajajaja run to the hills
