Omg Brittney, I love it all!! The African Village is just breathtaking. My favorite would have to be the heishi beads and the African glass beads. Thanks for demonstrating the cleaning method. Love ya Goldie pie🥰

Something very satisfying about watching you toothbrush the beads. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Watching the dirt come off? priceless. Goldie: Okay I'll give you a mini wag but now you have to attend to me. Here's my belly. Where's the toothbrush?
What an experience it must have been in African Village. The beads and, my god, the Afghani pendants.....all so gorgeous. I couldn't possibly choose a favorite. I think I would cuddle that haul. Woweeeee!!! Someday, I hope, I'll be there. Thanks for sharing Brittany!

Love your African bead haul! The African Village was awesome. I bought a statue. 😂 Went for beads and spent all my money on something else. Please use all your beads and great pendants. So so beautiful.

So hard to choose a favorite but at first I chose the heishi rondels. Then, you brought out the Afghani focals, all so beautiful, my favorites. You truly have an artistic eye!

I love the first strand of beads. Wear them, don’t frame. Only you get to see them in the frame. All those around you get to see them when you wear them. They are fabulous. Of course. I could say that about many of the beads you showed. About cleaning your purchases I wash my jewelry with hand soap and water and dry immediately on a soft towel. I did have an experience of cleaning a man’s ring. It was his college ring that he wore daily. It was around 20-25 years after graduation. I took it home and dropped it in a jewelry cleaning solution that I bought from a traveling bead show. In the morning the solution was filthy and I thought that I had lifted a metal coloring. But it turned out to be layers of crud that embedded itself into the ring. I took the brush that came with the kit and scrubbed. It looked so good when I was done. You may want to try a gentle jewelry cleaner. I do remember that it was sold by the gallon. Hope I wasn’t too wordy. Love your purchases!🌸

I picked up a few of the afganistan pendants too! iI picked up a bunch of brass pendants and brass beads as well. I loved the African Art Village. I'd never visited there before. It's definitely a place to go to my next Gem Show trip. All the pieces I bought need cleaning so it was good to see how you do it.

OMG! I am SOOO DROOLING right now! 😍 Dang, girl, that is some haul...but SOOO many yummies, I really can't pick a favorite! Although, I must confess that I'm a total sucker for those big, honkin' bone beads you always seem to find. However, I love just about any African glass in bright (OR soft) colors too...just not a huge fan of the "neutrals" myself. Oh, and some of those vintage Afghani pendants are absolutely "to die for"...the first one you showed, with the bigger glass jewels on it is definitely my favorite of those, I THINK! 🤣 Anyhoo, thanks for sharing...even if it did make me a little crazier than I already was! 🤪 H&C, headin' your way! 💞

At 15:33 the pendant you show looks like a Multan enamel silver pendant that has lost most of its blue enamel. You can look some up in different states of repair on Etsy and on the web. They are usually quite pricey. You might be able to use these pictures to add blue in some form back to your pendant. They are fabulous.
