Great videos Earl, been watching all your videos to get some very valued tips. Having only ever fished freshwater your video's have been so informative. Hopefully see you on the large pier someday.
How do mate, never done pier fishing only done from shore in past just wondering how do you fetch in a decent sized fish solo with how big the drop offs are?
We normally have drop nets , but you can walk all the way around to the ramp/steps but doing that you have to go underneath e everyone else that's fishing
@@EarlsFishingAdventures thought that would be how just wasn't sure how easy using drop net solo would be im in Carlisle normally go allonby way never done out on the pier but wanting to get into it now but always just go by myself
@@Jason-uk9cx I will be going to fish allonby soon . My friend has a caravan there and they said I can have it for 1 weekend. I'm off down ro the mersey river on the 19th. So I'll be going allonby after that. See depending on the size of the fish you can reel down as far and you can the pull that fish up the wall with your rod but I wouldn't suggest that because your rod could snap
@@EarlsFishingAdventures best spot iv got near allonby is right by the farm 2hrs either side of high tide 3rd breaker in Nice clean ground always seems to get the best bites there if you don't fish around there often and don't have any spots of your own mate
